“Good to know.” I smile to myself. This woman. “Belize is also known for the Mayan Ruins. We could work our way through all the landmarks.”

“Do you think we really have that much time?” Now she looks at me and the worried expression is back.

“All we can do is make a list and work through it. Maybe start the farthest away and work our way back to Belize City so we are there when a flight opens up.” Her expression clears; that seems to have assured her for now. I will do whatever it takes to make Ivory comfortable. Even if it means foregoing the adventure altogether and staying locked up on this island or in a house on the mainland.

“Are you sure you’re okay with leaving the island?”

“I’m sure.” She takes a deep breath as if to center herself before sitting up and facing me full on. “This is just all so new for me, you know. It will take time to get used to. But I want to try. I want to do something out of character. I want some adventure. What’s the point of being stuck in this country if not for us to take advantage and explore it?”

“Right.”

“It’s weird though, too. Being this free. Not having to worry about people following me around. No one knowing where I am. Not being watched every second of every day. I know it’s pathetic but this feels more real than my real life.”

“It’s not pathetic,” I say, reaching out to pull her close to me. She ends up straddling my lap and I try not to ruin this moment with a hard on. “What’s pathetic is that those vultures follow you around and give you no privacy. What’s pathetic is them. Not you. Never you.”

Ivory runs her palms up my biceps, over my shoulders, and locks them behind my neck. The change in position brings her body flush against mine driving the temperature in the hot tub higher with each second.

“Thank you.”

“For what?” I choke out. All my conscious thoughts are willing my aching cock to cooperate and not seek out Ivory’s heat.

“For saying that. For always treating me like a real person. For reminding me I’m not the crazy one.”

“You are a real person. You may be a little crazy. Only crazy people stay in a foreign country with a stranger and let them talk them into a road trip.”

“Okay, only mildly crazy then.” She laughs, dragging her fingers through the hair at the base of my skull. It feels so fucking good, doing nothing for my situation below the water. I am going to combust from all the electricity flowing between us. I don’t want to pressure her, but I’m a man who can only take so much. My balls might fall off before she gives me the green light but I won’t make a move to take this further until she gives me the signal. It doesn’t stop my hips from lifting towards where she hovers above my crotch. It’s just a slight brush but my skin prickles with the sensation. Her fingers pause their ministrations and I hear the faint gasp escape Ivory’s mouth. Ivory slowly lowers herself deeper into my lap so she is fully seated. My hard length nestles into her core. When Ivory goes to move, I grab her hips. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”

“Why not?” she asks, teasingly.

“Because I’m already finding it very hard to resist you. You’re a walking temptation. It’s yours the minute you say you want it. But I don't think you’re ready yet.”

Her eyebrows pull in as she scrutinizes my expression. I am sure my eyes are hooded with lust but I try to force away the fog so she can see what I am really saying.

“I’m not turning you down. I couldn’t even if I wanted to. But hear me when I say this”—I grasp her chin in one hand while flexing the other on her hip, dragging her closer so she feels all of me beneath her—“this isn’t just a physical thing for me, Ives. I’m all in. The second you give me the green light, you are mine. I’m already yours. So make sure you are ready toexplore this thing for real when you finally make your move. There are no take backs. I’m not just trying to get on base. I’ll play all seven games if I have to, Ivory. I’m playing for keeps and I intend to have every single piece of you before it’s over. I’m not going home empty handed. I don’t know what boys you have dealt with in your past, but I am not them. I will pursue you. I will show you every second of every single day how much I want you. It’s getting harder and harder to hold back, but I don’t want to scare you away. This past month with you has been the best month of my life. It may not be real life, but it’s been our reality. I won’t give that up without a fight.” I pause, giving her a minute to take it all in.

Slowly, I slide Ivory off my lap into the seat beside mine, and stand up in the water. My hard-on is on full display in my board shorts and Ivory is eye level with it. Her tongue peeks out, licking her lips before her teeth sink into her upper lip.

Grasping her chin in my fingers again, I bring her attention back to my eyes and say, “So be sure you’re ready, baby, because the next time you’re on your knees like that, my cock will be in your mouth, or your pussy. I’m not picky.”

Then I drop a kiss to her forehead and head for an ice cold shower to jerk off to the feel of Ivory grinding on my cock.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Ivory

May 1

“Ready for an adventure, Hollywood?” I’m realizing that, for Preston Fields, I would do just about anything. That’s the only thing that could explain why I am willingly leaving the security of this island to go on an adventure with him. Preston’s original plan of touring the Mayan Ruins was derailed because the Institute of Archaeology, or the NICH of Belize, announced that all archaeological sites are closed to visitors due to pandemic restrictions. I didn’t even realize they were monitored or part of the governmental structures that would close, but you learn something new every day. That still didn’t deter Preston. He was determined to find any outdoor activities or sites that we could tour on the mainland.

“As I will ever be.”

“The boat captain is meeting us at the marina in Dangriga to make sure the boat is squared away. I also have a Jeep waiting so we should be all set. Do you need to grab anything else?”

Preston is calm and collected as always, whereas I am anxious enough for the both of us. The numbers in Belize so far are notas bad as the rest of the world. As long as we are conscious of our interactions and follow the protocols, everything will be fine.

Wait, did he say— “A jeep?”

“Can’t go on a road trip without transportation.” Preston pulls me outside to the side patio.
