“I can feel you squeezing me so tightly. I can’t hold back. Fuck!”
She felt wave after wave of his essence flooding into her. It felt so right, she wished that they could always be locked together in passionate battle. But slowly, they had to return to the present space and time. Pulling her head back from the clouds, Dawn rested it on his shoulder.
“Thank you,” she said after she caught her breath.
“For what?” he asked.
“For loving me.”
His face was solemn. “I should be the one thanking you. I never realized what I was missing in my life until I met you.”
“You’re welcome,” she said.
He let out a laugh. “I guess I should have thanked you for remembering me. I would never want to be your enemy.”
Dawn cocked her head, asking, “Why?”
She expected him to reply with something sweet and sentimental. Instead, he surprised her like always.
“Because I don’t think I would survive.”
