Sneaking across the bow, I turn the corner onto the aft deck where they're working, their backs to me keeping me hidden.

"Well, my only options are you and Hannah and you're both fucking fine as hell."

"Completely straight, huh? Garrett’s pretty hot." Keeran has her blond hair braided to one side as she and Robbie talk and work. She shoots him a smile and a wink before turning back to her work, making him laugh.

I’ve heard enough.

“How’s it going?” Both jump in surprise at the sound of my voice. Robbie straightens, brushing his hair off his forehead and Keeran’s eyes go wide.

“Hey, Captain. We’re getting it done.” Robbie, at least I think that’s his name, tips his head in my direction and gets back to cleaning the boat.

“Good.” Underneath us, I can hear shuffling coming from the tender garage where Garrett and Aiden are working to sort through the various water toys. “Make sure you’re hitting the stainless,” I instruct before leaving them behind.

The doors to the main salon open and I see Hannah kneeling on the floor, ass in the air, as she digs through a cabinet. Her gray standard-issue skirt is tight across her ass, leaving little to the imagination.

How in the hell am I going to stay away from her?

My jaw clenches rhythmically as I stride straight on through to the galley. It’s amazing that I was even able to pull my gaze away from the feast that was in front of me.

She really is going to make this impossible.

With a sigh, I grab the radio fob hanging from my ear and bring it to my lips and push on the button to speak. “All crew, all crew. Meet me in the sky lounge in five minutes.” It’s about time for the crew to learn my expectations and management style.

The sky lounge is located on the top section of the boat. It has a closed-in seating area large enough to fit all the crew members. The entire back wall is floor-to-ceiling windows that lead out to a deck with plush seating for the guests to enjoy the sunshine. TheSirenmay be small, but she doesn’t lack in luxury.

Everyone’s waiting for me in the sky lounge and it takes all my willpower to keep my eyes from focusing on Hannah. She’s so damn beautiful. She’s pulled her long hair over one shoulder and her cheeks are flushed pink, either from working or from seeing me.

I’m not ignorant of the effect I tend to have on women and I noticed how she looked at me when we first met.

You can stare at me all you want, Hannah.

“Welcome to motor yachtSiren. I wanted to take a minute to speak to you all as a crew. Trust is earned with me, and you’ll have to work hard for it. You all know how to do your jobs, but that doesn’t mean I trust you to do them well—at least not yet.” Several crew members swallow hard, others nod their heads. Not Hannah though. She sits up and squares her shoulders.

Interesting.

“Our main priority while on charter is safety for everyone on board. From what I’m told, the Oliviers will have guests from time to time, so Hannah,” I gesture towards the lone stewardess, “might need some help. We are a team and will work as such. If you keep all those in mind, we’ll have a great season.”

"Now, let me introduce you to our chief engineer and first mate.” The two men sit to my left, separate from the crew. “Joe here,” the older, balding man waves at the crew sitting across from him, “is our engineer. If anyone needs help with anything, he’s your guy.”

“Our first mate, Garrett.” Garrett nods his head. “He’ll be in charge of the deck crew and help oversee the bridge.” I find myself checking in with Hannah like I could see whether she finds him attractive or not. Ever since I heard Keeran say she thought he was attractive I couldn’t help but wonder if Hannah agrees. He’s more age-appropriate, that’s for sure.

“If I may, Captain?” Chef Damon leans forward from his spot on the couch and I nod for him to continue. “All that I ask is that you keep the galley clear from any clutter. If you have any requests for crew food, just let me know.”

Shit, how did I not notice the British accent? Keeran is practically drooling, and Hannah has glassy eyes listening to him talk.

The fact that I’m finding myself jealous of a woman who I barely know is not good for my resolve. I just wonder how long I’ll be able to hold out.

Chapter Three

Hannah

It might be just me, but this entire crew is ridiculously attractive. We've got a captain who is hot as sin, and a first officer who could give Captain America a run for his money. There's sexy Robbie with his silky dark hair that flops in his eyes, Aidan who has this boy next door look, and Keeran with her gorgeous sun-streaked blond hair and bronzed skin. Don’t even get me started on Chef Damon because I might literally swoon. Swoon! I feel like the ugly duckling of the bunch.

My radio crackles with static before Damon's voice filters through. "Hannah, can you meet me in the galley?" God, he even sounds good over the freaking radio.

Putting the container back on the shelf in the pantry, I search for the earpiece of the radio dangling from my shirt collar. "Yep. I'll be there in a minute."

One thing that took a little getting used to is the radio. I had one captain who would steal a radio if he found one sitting out, and you didnotwant that to happen. I learned that lesson quickly and ever since, I constantly check for my radio. It's just like me to set something down and forget all about it.
