I sat in my car and watched the house that Kileen was supposed to be out of. He wasn’t home, but Siya was there. I wasn’t sure what he was telling her, but it was time for me to break the truth to her. Getting out of my car, I sent Jah a text and told him I was okay. He had already checked my location and didn’t like the fact that I was alone. I made my way up to the door and rang the doorbell.
Siya answered the door with her daughter holding on to her pant leg. I glanced inside the home to see that nothing was packed. My intuition was right about Kileen. He wanted this young girl to think everything was fine, and I was the problem.
“Look, I’m not here to start with you.” I pulled the paperwork out of my bag. “Y’all have less than twenty-four hours to vacate this house. I’m not sure what your man is telling you about our divorce, but this is my house, and I need y’all out.”
“What? Kileen bought this house for me.”
“Of course he did, sweetheart. Unfortunately, he purchased this house while we were still married. It belongs to me. Now, I don’t know what you need to do,” I looked at my watch. “Twenty-four hours go by fast. This is a lot of house to pack up. Anythingthat’s left in here when I come and change the locks with the police will go in the trash.”
“Why are you so evil?” She fought back tears. “Everything he said about you was right.”
“I’m evil?” I laughed. “Whatever he told you about me, believe it. I don’t even have the time or energy to sit here and school your little ass. The only person I feel sorry for is your daughter.”
“You never gave a damn about her. Kileen told me that much.”
“I never desired to have a connection with her because I was hurt. The same hurt I felt, you or your daughter will feel. You played a major part in my hurt. Just know that if karma doesn’t come for you, it will come for her. She is a beautiful little girl. Looks just like her daddy. Start packing, Siya. And if your man needs to get in contact with me, he can call my man on this card. Have a good rest of your day,” I said as I handed her the business card.
Jah was calling as I got back in the car.
“Aye, you’ve been at that location too long, so I’m on the way,” Jah said before I could say anything.
“I’m leaving now. Calm down.”
“I’m not calming down when I don’t know if you're safe. Where are you headed now? You need to come home so I can eat your pussy. You got my nerves bad.”
“Jah, I thought you had meetings today.”
“Shit, a meeting can wait. Bring your ass home, please.”
“I’m on the way.”
“Bet,” he said before he hung up.
Jah was waiting for me to walk in the door. Since I had gotten pregnant, sex with Jah had intensified. We already couldn’t keep our hands off each other, but now, he was so attentive to my needs and trying to make sure I was comfortable.
“What they got going on over there?” Jah asked as he kissed and walked me to his office.
“They haven’t moved or packed anything. I talked with Siya and let her know they had twenty-four hours to be out before the police came.”
“If you had let me and your dad handle it, they would’ve been out, and the house could’ve been rented out by now.”
“You don’t have to solve all my problems, Jah. Especially problems that accumulated before we made it official. I feel like I should handle it.”
“Am I your man?” He asked as he looked me in my eyes.
“Of course.”
“Well, let me be that. Now lay back so I can eat you to sleep.”
And he did just that. Made me cum twice and then carried me to the bed, pulled the cover up on me, and went and had his business meetings.
When I woke up, Jah had flowers and food waiting on me. Months had gone by since I had been in this house with him, and he had not stopped being a lover boy. The flowers still showed up, he still opened doors, and he still delivered everything he said he would.
“I love you.” He kissed my lips.
“I love you, too.”
“I did a thing today,” he told me.
