“Looking how you’re looking, yes. Or are you going todance?Since that’s now your new favorite thing to do. Shit, I don’t know who you are anymore.”

“You’re right, Kil. You don’t know me anymore, and it’s sad. It’s sad that after all these years, you’ve overlooked my change as getting old or not being on your level. All the while, I’ve stuck beside you. Through everything. The investments that went through, emptying my savings for your dreams, and the cheating, obviously. Yet, I’m still here!”

“Well, leave, Tati! You ain’t the only one who sacrificed.”

“Leave what? My fucking house? This is my shit! So, you can leave and take your child with you.”

Kileen stood there looking at me in disbelief. This wasn’t like the first time I put him out after finding out about him cheating.

“Are we really standing here arguing about some bullshit?”

“It’s not bullshit, Kil. You don’t respect me, and I’m tired.”

He approached me and wrapped his arms around me.

“I’m sorry, Tati. I’m worried that you don’t want me anymore, and I’m stressed. Something or someone is occupying your mind. It’s been like that since I walked back in this house months ago. It’s like you’re on autopilot and you’ve never been like that before. I only brought my daughter here because I knew it would get your attention. It won’t happen again.” He kissed my lips.

The doorbell went off, and my head instantly looked at the digits on the microwave. I had stood here arguing with Kileen for almost thirty minutes.

“You got someone coming by?” Kileen asked.

“No, are you sure it’s not your baby mama?”

“Nah, I told her not to come back over here.”

We both walked to the door, and my heart dropped as soon as I saw Jah standing at the door.

JAHMIR

Song: Partynextdoor & Drake- Greedy

I knewshe wasn’t going to show up. My mind was already made up that I was going over there. When seven hit, and she wasn’t at my house, I hopped in my work truck and headed to her house. I ended up sitting in the truck for a minute because I could hear them arguing from the driveway.

“Just go get your girl, Jah. The home ain’t happy,” I told myself as I sat in the truck.

I could hear her telling Kileen that he didn’t understand her or respect her. Tatiyonna’s safety was the only thing that made me sit in the truck longer than I wanted to. I wanted to make sure that I was making the right decision. Shit, I wasn’t afraid of Kileen, but I knew how weak niggas like him would do the women they were married to. After I didn’t hear the arguing anymore, I got out of the truck and walked up to the door. Without hesitating, I hit the doorbell.

When the door opened, and they both stood there, looking at me as if they were shocked I was standing on their doorstep. I could feel Tatiyonna’s energy. Her eyes were begging me no torat her out. When I got out of my truck, I was coming to snatch her ass out of this house. His weak ass needed to know that she didn’t have to argue with his weak ass when she had a nigga like me ready to bow at her feet.

“Jahmir, what are you doing over here this time of night?” Kileen asked.

“Please,” Tatiyonna mouthed behind him.

I tilted my head and looked at my watch. “I had no idea this was your house. I had an appointment at seven, but she must have given me the wrong address.” I pulled my phone out and sent a text to Tatiyonna’s phone.

Me: Ten sharp. If you don’t bring your ass this time, I’m coming back to snatch you the fuck out of the house with this fuck nigga.

“My bad, wrong address, it’s down the street. This is a nice house. Did you build this?” I asked Kileen.

“Yeah, come in, and I’ll show you around.”

“I would love that.”

He had no idea I had already been in this house a few times. Fucked his wife in their bed and ate her sweet ass pussy in their bathroom. Tatiyonna rushed to the kitchen and left us.

“Tatiyonna had this dream house built, and I did the blueprints. You know you got to keep your woman happy.” Kileen looked at me.
