“Aight, get dressed, and I’ll stop by your house so you can throw some makeup on. Don’t take long. I would hate for your husband to pull up and see me.”

“What are you going to do?” she teased.

I raised my eyebrow, “Depends on what type of time he’s on. I’m nothing to fuck with,” I warned her.

She gathered her stuff and went to get dressed. I went behind her to my bedroom so I could get ready as well. When Tatiyonna emerged from the closet, the green dress hit off her chocolate skin so well. She had her skin oiled up, and she had sprayed on the Kilian perfume I had in her bag as well. I licked my lips, and I tightened the tie.

“We might not make it with you looking that muthafuckin’ good.”

“No, you’ve got to take me now. I’m curious where we’re going. I’ll be complete once I get my makeup on.”

“You’re beautiful without it, but I get it. Let me put my shoes on, and we’ll get out of here.”

Because it was my girl’s special night, I decided to drive the double R. I opened the door for her and let her slide in. I got in and made the drive to her house. As she went in, I patiently waited for her, hoping that her nigga pulled up. Not that he would be able to see me behind the tint, but I would be able to see his bitch ass. Within fifteen minutes, she was walking out glowing.

“You ready?”

“Ready?”

I turned on some old school R&B and made the forty-five-minute drive to a nice lounge that served top-of-the-line cuisine, and the music was on point. I just wanted her to let her hair down and enjoy herself. Whatever had her fucked up today was in the past. Valet helped us out of the car, and I held my hand out for Tatiyonna.

We were seated at our table and were about to enjoy our first glass of wine. All I could do was stare at her in the dimly lit lounge. She was gorgeous, and all I could do was think about was her sitting on my face with that dress on.

“I saw you with your little hoe bag. You staying with me for a few days?”

“Yes, I’m spending the night, and it’s not a hoe bag. Or is that how you look at me?” She looked at me over her wine glass.

“I would never. Just going by what my sister calls hers. What do you want me to call it, baby?”

“My Jah bag.” She smiled.

“I like the sound of that.”

I ordered hor d’oeuvres, and we both ordered the food that we wanted. It was good to see she was in better spirits.

“I see you don’t mind spending money. You don’t have to do that to impress me,” she told me.

“Money is endless, baby. I spoil everybody I love. Not saying that’s what this is, but I care about you, so that’s close enough.Don’t look at my concrete business and think I ain’t running shit.”

“Okay, talk your shit.”

We ate and enjoyed each other’s company. Neither of us was picking up our phone. I had already told Lonni I was going to be unavailable for at least two days. The Isley Brothers came through the speakers.

“This is my song, come on.” I grabbed her hand.

She turned her back to me, and I wrapped my arms around her waist and sang The Isley Brothers in her ear.

I wanna love ya’. Over and over again…don’t say goodnight.

Tatiyonna rested her head back on me and rocked slowly to the music. I placed soft kisses on her neck. Three songs had gone on before we were walking off the floor. I paid the bill, and we headed back to town. I reached out and rested my hand on Tatiyonna’s thigh as she enjoyed the skyline.

Song:Usher- Peace Sign

“Did you enjoy tonight?” I asked her.

“I did. Thank you.” She smiled at me.

“Anything to make you feel better.”
