“Moira. Moira Barnes.” She smiled. “Most folks call me Merry. If you have any trouble on the islands, call for me, and I will come at a run. For now, I have clothes for you, and you can change on the plane.”

Rache grinned. “Excellent. What size is your clothing?”

“I have either. It just depends on how comfortable you are flashing all kinds of midriff.”

Eden chuckled. “I am good. So, how long until we board?”

“Oh, shoot. This way. The ears didn’t drive off the ADHD.” She grinned and shrugged. “Follow me.”

She walked slowly, and they were able to keep up with her. They went up the steps and into the plane, where Joy was waiting for them.

“Ladies. Emery has already tucked her bags away, and your lawyer filled out your visitor visas.”

Moira settled and clicked into her seat. “I was born on the islands, so I am a citizen of Emerald Island. Less paperwork. More family drama when they see me like this.”

Eden asked, “They don’t know?”

“This is really recent. I probably bumped into my other half in the city, but my family deserves to see it face-to-face. They moved to the village on Wonder, so that is where I am heading.”

Eden and Rache sat across from Moira and buckled in.

Joy grinned. “I will just let the pilot know, and we will be on our way.”

Moira smiled. “Joy is also an elf omega.”

Joy cackled. “She’s not wrong.”

She spoke to the pilot and pulled up the steps, folding and locking them in. Joy did the cabin checks and went to speak with the captain. “All right, ladies. We are cleared for departure.”

Eden murmured, “That is fast.”

“Private airstrips pay for the access to the sky.”

Rache asked, “How much is this going to cost us?”

“Those hugs Penny gave you. That’s your cargo.”

“What?”

“Ven is the princess of the Emerald Island chain. She’s the beta of the ruling omega. And the mate of his alpha. They are quite the tight triad from all accounts. Anyway, she and Penny have a history. They are chosen sisters and have been through hell together. So, Ven would enjoy the hug.” She smiled.

“But you haven’t met her.”

“No. Well, only a few times at the book club. I went with a friend who had been attacked.” She pointed to the white hair and pointed ears. “This happened about a month ago.”

Rache blinked. “You don’t know who?”

“Nope. I was at a tradeshow, and there were some dark elves there, and there was a crush. Hands picked me up and got me out of there, and that was all I knew. The next day, my skin got itchy, and my clothes felt too tight. I went out with friends, and something funny happened, and I started laughing, and poof. The downside is that I am stuck like this. No shrinking. I can’t get back into my normal clothes, but I can sew, so a friend sent me some size-friendly designs, and she and I decided to make a small shop on Wonder. She draws them, and I make them. I have already sent her a few outfits, and she’s over the moon about them.”

Eden smiled. “Do you need someone to do front-of-house?”

“Maybe. You definitely look like model material.”

Eden grinned. “I have quite the figure when I am not pregnant.”

“Yes, I can see that. Did you want to pursue secondary education?”

Eden paused. “Yes. I would.”
