“Just be easy sweetheart,” Julien said, “we’ve got you.”

He let himself sink.

Sometime later, Luis started to rouse. The room was dark, the bed unspeakably comfortable, and when he shifted, an arm around him squeezed.

“Time?” Luis asked. He sounded like a frog with how dry he was.

“Just after three, you’ve been napping for an hour,” Julien said.

Luis cracked an eye open. Julien was in bed with him, curled close with his arm around Luis.

His thoughts drifted to try and place this in space and time. They’d… had sex. A lot of sex.

“I’m… a little foggy still,” Luis admitted.

Julien chuckled and kissed his bare shoulder. “To be expected. You go down so easy.”

He did, and like with the bite haze, it lingered. Not that Luis was complaining. He felt relaxed and easy right now, all the worries from before washed away. It would be scary with the wrong company.

But he was with the exact right company.

Julien’s hand smoothed up his side, a heavy, soothing gesture. “Do you think you can get up?” Julien asked. “I should get some sugars into you, and clean you up.”

“But I’m cozy,” Luis grumbled, cuddling closer.

“So am I, but I could make us cozy in the bath, sweetheart,” Julien said.

That piqued his interest. He remembered seeing the large tub in there beside the shower.

“Bath?”

“Mhmm,” Julien said, “big enough for three.”

That sounded… really nice. “Where is Karim?”

“He went to handle a customer complaint,” Julien explained, “but I’m to text him now that you’re up.”

“Oh.”

“So, bath?” Julien pressed.

Luis groaned again, but started to push himself up. “Okay, fine.”

“You won’t even have to walk, I’ll carry you,” Julien said.

“Wait, no–!” Luis started, but it was already too late. Julien scooped him up and started toward the bathroom.

Ten minutes later, Julien had the bath filling, the tray of food relocated to a stand beside the tub, and had texted Karim to join them. While doing so he’d had Luis wait on the closed toiletseat, but now he pulled him up by hand to lead him to the steamy water.

He’d put something in the water that smelled richly of vanilla. Julien stepped in first and then made sure Luis didn’t trip with his wobbly legs.

They settled, Julien resting against one end, Luis settled between his legs. The water was so warm that Luis groaned as he leaned his head back against Julien.

“Good?” Julien asked.

“So good,” it came out slurred and Luis didn’t even care.
