Not ready for the moment to end, Keith released his mate’s shaft and licked his way to his balls and then grasped his ass and tilted it up before burying his face between Brian’s firm cheeks. The inhuman sound Brian made was filled with ecstasy and it spurred Keith forward. He licked Brian’s crease, sucked on his pucker, and stabbed his tongue into his core. All the while moaning happily.

“I’m going to come again.” Brian scrambled for his shaft, hand curling around it. “You’re making me come again.”

Quickly, Keith shot up and covered Brian’s crown with his lips. He sucked and bobbed, wanting to taste his prize, and in seconds, he was rewarded when Brian screamed and shot thick streams of ejaculate into his mouth.

“Mmm,” Keith moaned as he tasted and swallowed, his own body reacting to his mate’s bliss by finding release once again. “So good.” He looked up to find Brian staring at him and gasping for air, his hair drenched in sweat, his cheeks red, and his mouth gaping. After giving another kiss to his shaft, Keith moved up his body and curled around him, face tucked into Brian’s neck. “And we have our entire lives to do it again and again.”

Throughout his life, even when he had managed to sleep, Keith hadn’t slept deeply or soundly. Except for the last week when he had shared a bed with his mate. Brian’s scent and warmth soothed him and their intense physical joinings satisfied him on a bone-deep level, so he was able to truly rest.

As usual, he had woken before Brian, and he was taking the quiet time to catalogue his features. His dark, curly hair, messy from Keith’s fingers. His cheeks, bristly with overnight growth. His lean muscles, covered by glowing skin.

“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Brian slurred, words still heavy with sleep and eyes still closed. “I’ve worn you out every night for a week. You need rest.”

“I did rest.” He snuggled closer and pressed his nose into the side of Brian’s neck. “I sleep really well with you, mate.”

Brian circled his arms around him, one hand caressing his back while the other wove through his hair. “What time is it?”

“Based on the light seeping in from behind the curtains, I’d say it’s around eight.” He kissed the underside of Brian’s chin. “See? It’s not too early.”

“That would be true if we went to sleep at a reasonable hour, but no matter how hard I try to get us into bed early, you manage to keep us up for hours.”

“I can’t help myself.” He scooted on top of Brian so they were lying chest-to-chest. “You’re irresistible.”

“So are you.” Warm brown eyes opened and gazed at him. “Good morning, beautiful.”

Heat and joy bloomed through his chest in reaction to the adoring gaze and kind words. “Good morning, mate.” He trailed his fingertips over Brian’s sideburns.

On the bedside table, Brian’s phone lit up with an incoming call. They both glanced over to it.

“Ricky Marx?” Keith said. “Why is he calling so early?” He hoped there wasn’t any trouble in Golden Valley.

“He’s just a friend,” Brian said, picking up the phone. “Don’t worry.” He raised his finger to end the call.

“You should answer it; he may need something.”

“You don’t mind?” He put his hand on Keith’s knee.

“Why would I mind?” Keith furrowed his brow. “What if he needs help? Answer.”

Brian took the call and put it on speaker. “Hello.”

“Hi, Alpha Berger. I’m sorry for calling so early but I need a favor.”

“Are you okay?” he asked as he moved his hand over Keith’s knee, caressing him.

“Yes, but Morgan doesn’t want me to exert myself too much because the baby is due soon.”

“Baby?” Keith mouthed. He hadn’t realized Ricky was pregnant again.

“He’s a Psi,” Brian whispered. “I’ll explain it later.”

“That’s why I’m not coming with him, but I’m calling to ask you to please give him a chance.”

“Coming with him?” Brian’s hand stilled.

“Oh yeah, I forgot to say that part. Morgan will be at your house soon. What happened before was my fault, not his. I don’t want more fighting over me. Please.”

“You fought with Morgan Peters?” Keith asked, surprised. “Why?” Not that he hadn’t done the same thing dozens of times, but he’d had his reasons, however unbalanced and irrational he now realized they’d been.
