“Want to take liberties with me?” she asked. “After the wedding in DC? Don’t you have a conference coming up soon?”

He was against her.

“That’s not going to work,” he said, knowing what she was doing.

And it absolutely would work because she was beautiful, and he was a man. More often than not, he was thinking with his dick, and not his brain.

When her hands slipped under his scrubs, and ran up his body, and back down, he sighed.

“That’s going to work.”

She kissed him, and while she was kissing him, he swore she was trying to crawl into his body via his mouth.

And he was good with that.

Yeah, he sold his soul to this she-Devil a long time ago, and he was more than fine with that, too.

Wrapping his arms around her body, Chris took over, dominating the kiss.

Yeah, Elizabeth had him wrapped around her little finger, and she knew it. This was his wife of his heart, and on paper. Legally, she was a Leonard—not a Blackhawk.

Technically.

When he slowly broke the kiss, her lip was between his teeth.

“Later, you and I will be having some fun. If we can’t be alone in bed, I expect soapy shower sex. Because liberties.”

She peppered his face with kisses.

They were filled with so much love.

“Anything, my love. I’m going to be heading out to go talk to some real estate dude, so hold down the fort.”

While he had her attention, he updated her.

“We couldn’t get a penthouse. There are none inHolladay. We went with two business suites. Three and two. Ethan will likely want to be with Gene.”

She teased his ear, knowing that Ethan was staying in Damascus tonight, and they’d likely have Gene with them.

“I’m sure we can find some alone time in a hotel shower,” she admitted.

“More so, someone needs to go check-in. You have to sign the paperwork and authorize it. It’s your card.”

She understood.

It was one more thing on her list of tasks for the day.

“I’ll swing by after we talk to the real estate guy. I’ll assume you sent me the email?”

He nodded.

Then, set her free.

Once more, he had an erection in scrubs.

That was dastardly, and she knew it.

“Go. You make me want to do questionable things, like have a perfectly good ME corrupted. Now I understand how civilizations fell because of a woman. Men are weak.”
