The Killer and His Muse

It’s late, and my eyes burn with a fierce need for sleep, but as I put thefinal touches on my new thirst trap, my heart pounds in my chest as I hit ‘post.’ I wait, the excitement building in anticipation for the influx of comments from thousands of horny MaskTok enthusiasts.

I’m a slut for the attention I receive on the app. I’m completely anonymous, yet I have adedicatedfollowing. I have over five hundred thousand faithful followers who are ready to get down on their knees for me and call me daddy.

After a few seconds, long enough to exhale and try to calm my heart rate, the first notification pings on my phone…and then another…and another.

Yesssss.

I groan, watching my notification box fill up, my phone buzzing in my hand over and over. My dick is straining against the zipper of my pants, and I hiss at the bite it gives. I open the comments on my video, reading the downright filthy, nasty, depravedthings these women say, fueling my praise kink.

Some men, too. I don’t judge. Their praise sings the same tune for me.

The comments on tonight’s video do not disappoint.

“Username227364634: ‘I would let him fuck me sideways!” I chuckle and continue scrolling.

“ReadingwithTRIX: Santa, please put a masked man under my tree! I’ve been an xxxtra good girl this year!”

“Fuuuuuccccck,” I groan, palming my painfully hard dick through my pants. “If only I could find one of you in real life.”

Not that I haven’t tried.

My last fling was into kinky stuff, rough sex, and anal, mostly. So, I thought I was safe when I showed up at her house wearing a mask. I wasgoingto ease her into it, I’m not a fuckin asshole, but she freaked out anyway, screaming and telling me never to come back, threatening to call the cops. She even called me a psycho, which, okay, she got me there. Ididshow up in the middle of the night, unannounced, dressed like an intruder—she had the right to freak out, but I thought she would be cool with it!

After that incident, I found VidTok, which allows me to have my creative, kinky freedomwithout revealing myself, because I need to stay anonymous. My following started small, but took off very fast. Most of the women who comment would never act on the words they say, so I let them leave their dirty comments, like the dirty girls they are, but I know they would never be into the things I’m into.

I haven’t been with anyone in almost a year, to be exact, and my dick is making that excruciatingly obvious right now. I need someone as depraved and fucked up as I am, but finding someone cool with being tied up, left for dead in the woods, only to be hunted down and fucked was proving to be nearly impossible; they’d have to be really fucked up to enjoy what I’m looking for.

I’m looking for a unicorn, and I hear those only exist in Scotland.

I continue scrolling through the comments, and one in particular catches my eye, “Author_LunaStirling: I’ve seen all your tags, Vixens! You guys are right, he could totally play Detective Moore!”

In the few minutes my video has been up, her comment is the most liked. I click on the person's name, which takes me to her VidTok profile. There, I find videos of what look like a woman’s hands holding up books, and her bio says she’s aDark RomanceAuthor.

“Dark Romance? What’s that?” I exit the app to do a quick Google search, and Google tells me that dark romances are romance books typically centered on taboo themes. My jaw drops at Google's list of the most popular taboos featured in dark romance. Some of the most fucked things that could happen to someone are on this list, and I can’t stop the way my dick twitches as I read on, my eyes landing on a familiar name on the list—MaskTok.

“Oh fuck,” I scramble back to my VidTok and click on the newest video she posted. It’s a promo video for her latest book in her series called Vera’s Vengeance. The book's cover features two masked individuals—a woman and a man—both with their arms outstretched and leaning back; the woman holds a gun, while the man has her by the waist, his gazefixed on her even though his face is obscured by a mask, one resembling Rorschach's from Watchmen.

My heart rate jumps into my neck, and I feel like I've gone deaf for a second. “She’s an author, and she writes mask kink books,” I say out loud to my empty room.

I click the link in her bio, which takes me to her website. My finger hovers over the picture of the first book; its cover is similar to the second one, but only features the woman on the front. I tap the image, and it opens a new tab; the book's synopsis appears.

“In a world where monsters take what they want, Vera will be there in the shadows—waiting, watching, stalking. Monsters think that the night hides them from all other evils, but little do they know this is her playground, and her unsuspecting victims deserve every bit of torture she brings to them. This fast-paced, Female Serial Killer Dark Romance series will keep you on your toes and on the edge of your seat with a burning desire for more!”

“Female—Serial—Killer,” the phrase dances around on my tongue, tingling the darkest parts of my fucked up brain. I quickly hit purchase without a second thought, buying both books. I return to VidTok and open the author's page once again.

“Luna Stirling,” I say out loud, “Where have you been all my life, my angel?”

Like magic or destiny, whatever you want to fucking call it, a red ring pops up around her profile picture, indicating she’s live-streaming. I instinctively went to join her live, but then I remembered the thousands of horny women who would go after her immediately if they saw my username in the chat. I exit my MaskTok profile and log into my burner account.

I quickly search her name and enter her livestream.

My eyes quickly beheld the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. Luna sat alone in a room with few identifying markers in the background. Her dark brown hair is tied in a bun, and her glasses rest lower on the bridge of her nose, allowing her to read the comments as they flood in. Her browneyes sparkle in the ring light she has set up behind the camera. “Hi, everyone! Welcome! I’m promoting Vera’s Vengeance two tonight!” She exclaims as she scrolls through the comments, trying to say hello to everyone who joins.

My fingers hover above my screen, and I can’t stop myself from typing out a message, “I just bought both copies. I'm looking forward to reading them.” I hit send and watch, hoping she reads my comment out loud.

“I just bought both—I'm looking forward to reading them. Aw, thank you. I hope you love them as much as I loved writing them!”
