“Wait here.” I jump out of the car and round the hood to open her side. “I’m about to put a blindfold on you.”

“Kinky,” she quips. “I’ve never had sex outside before.”

“I’ve turned you into a shameless exhibitionist.”

“Just the way you like me, Sir.” Fuck, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing her call me that. I force myself to stay focused on the task at hand.

When I’ve secured the blindfold, I guide her a block over to where the new premises will be, if she likes it.

“Where are we going?”

“Has it ever turned out badly when I’ve blindfolded you?” She bites on her bottom lip, and I know she’s remembering the last time I took her sight and asked her to trust me. It ended with an O ring and her swallowing my cum like a good girl.

“No, Sir.”

When we reach our destination, I take a deep, steadying breath, slowly untying the blindfold, her eyes adjusting to the streetlights.

“As you know, I’ve been looking for new premises for Dulip since the fire.”

“Oh, Ry, it looks great.”

“Wait until you see the space.” I hold up a set of keys before taking her hand in mine, venturing across the street.

“Have you bought it?”

“Not yet. I know the realtor, and he gave me the keys so I could show you first.” A soft smile creeps at the corner of her lips.

“You care about my input? Could you be any cuter?”

“No Dom wants to be called cute,” I say as I unlock the doors and usher her inside.

“You can be a Dominant and still be cute on occasion.”

“Anyway.” I change the topic of conversation. “What do you think?”

“Look at those crown moldings. They are so elegant. I can see this place being amazing when you fit it out. It’ll be just as beautiful as Dulip was.”

My pulse is racing as I take her hands in mine. “It could be whenwefit it out if you want.”

“Sure, I’ll give you my opinion, but it’s your restaurant.”

“What if it wereourrestaurant? I know you’ve been saving for a place of your own, and if that’s still what you want, then I am one hundred percent behind you. But, if you wanted to own half of this new restaurant, then I would love to go into business with you.”

“Ry…”

“I know. It’s a big decision. You don’t have to answer now. Take some time to think about it.”

“I don’t have to think about it. I’ve been dreaming of opening my own restaurant my entire adult life. It’s important to me.”

“I understand.” My heart sinks, even though I knew this would likely be the outcome.

“I don’t think you do. The only thing better than owning my own restaurant would be owning one with you. You’re the love of my life, Ry. I want it all for us. Where do I sign?”

I pick her up and twirl her around in the wide-open space. “Seriously?”

“Yes. I’m in this for keeps. Let’s buildourrestaurant.”

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of knowing you’re mine.”
