“See?” She beams.

“I do,” I lie, pressing a kiss to her temple.

We finish up in the bath, and climb out, wrapping ourselves in towels as the bath empties. She wanders from the room while I get the plug out and do a quick cleanup, and when I come out, she’s standing in the middle of the room, staring at the bed, her hair dripping water onto the hard floor.

“Are you okay?” I come up behind her, sliding my hand around her waist to bring her back to my front.

“I guess this is goodnight?”

“This is, get dry and in my bed, sweetheart.”

“Oh.”

Letting her go, I move to my drawers and pull out a pair of boxers before I drop the towel and put them on and then reach for one of my t-shirts.

“If you don’t put yourself there, I’ll put you there.” I tell her matter-of-factly and hand her the t-shirt.

She gives me a half-smile. “Okay.”

She dries herself off, and then I watch in somewhat fascination as she braids her hair, her fingers working quickly before she ties it off with a band.

“Which side?” She asks.

“Pick.” I tell her.

“You don’t have a preferable side?” She quirks a brow.

“I do,” I tip my head side to side, “But I can change.”

“Roman,” She sighs, “Which side is yours?”

“Door side.”

“Oh, that’s perfect,” She grins. “I’m a window-side kinda girl.”

My t-shirt hits her mid-thigh, but seeing her in my clothes has my cock hardening again, the way she swims in it, how the fabric drapes over her, legs on display. She pulls back the sheets and climbs into the bed, sinking against the pillows as she pulls the sheets back up to her chin. Her eyes crinkle at the edges, a shy smile as her eyes land on me.

“You’ve been holding out on me,” She teases. “This bed is like a cloud.”

“It’s yours.” I immediately declare and cross over to her, climbing in beside her before I reach for her to bring her in close.

She shifts until she’s facing me, her hands beneath her cheek.

“I need to kiss you,” I rasp.

“I’m here,” She replies, shuffling closer, until the front of her presses to the front of me. Sliding my arms around her, I bring her in more and lay my lips over hers, the taste a drug I cannot get enough of.

More. Always more.

Never enough.

She is the beginning and the end, and everything in between.

Say you need me.

That’s what I asked her, but it’s the other way round.

I need her.
