I rub my forehead, “The shots were probably a bad idea.”

“Blame Savvy for them,” Olivia groans, “My head is pounding.”

“Shit!” I gasp, “Savvy! Is she okay?”

“We took her home before coming here, Red,” Bast assures me, “Killian stayed with her while I brought us back here.”

“Killian?” I frown.

“Wait, what?” Olivia blurts.

“What?” Bast asks, “He’s like a brother to her.”

I blink slowly and then I nod, agreeing but knowing it’s a lie. “Coffee?” I ask Olivia, knowing she’s probably thinking the same thing.

“Mmhmm,” She agrees, “Meet at Joey’s in an hour.”

I agree and then hang up, hopping off the stool as I fire off a text to Savannah and tell her to meet us there too.

“Are you going out?” Sebastian follows me into the bedroom a few minutes later.

“Just for coffee with the girls,” I say, pulling out my jeans and a sweater, “What are you going to do today?”

“I have some work I need to get done,” He picks up the shirt I discarded on the bed and puts it on. I cringe and he smirks. “Unless I bring clothes over to keep here Red, this will keep happening.”

“You’re here enough,” I shrug, “You may as well.”

He kisses my cheek, “I need to grab a shower before I head to Malakai’s, see you later?”

“Yeah,” I give him a smile and watch him leave, and then I rush to get ready.

I may have been drunk last night, but no amount of alcohol would be able to drench the sparks flying between Killian and Savannah. I figured they’d hooked up before and this was like a dance for them, much like it was for me and Sebastian in the beginning but now I’m starting to wonder.

Surely Sebastian can’t be that blind to it!

When I’m dressed and presentable, I grab my purse and phone, and head out, hailing down a cab to take me to the coffee shop.

Chapter Twenty-one

I’m the first one at the coffee shop and grab our usual table by the window so that we can people watch and chat at the same time.

Though I doubt we’ll be doing much of it since I’m desperate to speak with Savvy.

I mean, I could totally be wrong but her and Kill?Phew…Sparks.

Olivia is the next to arrive, she grabs herself a coffee and plops down onto the couch opposite me, eyes wide, “You thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Mmhmm,” I mumble around the sip of coffeein my mouth.

“There’s something there,” She continues, “I saw it.”

I agree with a nod, eyes flicking to the door to see the blonde beauty stroll in. Long, dead straight blonde hair falls over her shoulder, down to her waist, woven with caramel shades and some lighter, platinum strands and tan, sun kissed skin. She turns heads, that’s for sure, from everyone because you can’tnotlook at her. Big blue eyes, freckles on her nose and cheeks and she’s currently rocking a cropped leather jacket with a tight cami underneath and tight, ripped black jeans with boots.

The complete opposite to the ballerina that steals the hearts of so many people. She orders her drink and breezes over, and that’s where you see the dancer in her, in the way she walks, graceful and light.

“Okay,” she says by way of greeting, “Before we get into anything else, you’re dating my brother!” It’s not a question but a statement, one said in a happy squeal, mouth turned up in a wide grin.

“I’m not sure we’re dating,” I cringe. Is that what it was? We were certainly fucking. And kissing. And sleeping together at my apartment but we hadn’t labeled anything. My brows tug down but then I shake my head, not letting it bother me.
