“I’m not a MILF and you shouldn’t know what that even is, Ty!” she instructs, trying her best to sound prim and proper—all while still blushing so deep that she could glow in the dark.

“Aunt Beau, the kids on the team already call you a MILF,” Slider laughs.

“Then, it’s your place to make them stop,” she huffs.

“Why would I do that?” Slider says, sounding completely confused. “It’s kind of a compliment. You’re hot and they’re acknowledging it. If you were a dog, they wouldn’t bother saying anything.”

“Well, I’m not a mom, so that nickname doesn’t really work. So, you can tell them to stop,” she commands Slider.

“I could but they’d just call you a cougar they want to fu?—”

“I think we should probably table this discussion and then bury it,” Beau grumbles.

“I wouldn’t be upset. I mean, it kind of fits. You’re moving in with my dad and that would kind of make you like a guardian over me,” Ty says, and I grin, because I can tell my son is definitely okay with this. I cross my arms and lean against the desk, smiling at Beau’s beautiful-but-beet-red face.

“We’re not moving in?—”

“Yeah, we are. Ty and I can move into your place if you don’t want to move into my condo. I’m good with that. Well, as long as you have two bedrooms. My boy needs his own space.”

Her eyes go as wide as saucers. I almost wince watching. That has to be painful. It’s all I can do to keep from laughing out loud. I sense that doing that at this juncture would be very bad.

“Aunt Beau has five bedrooms,” Slider supplies helpfully.

“Perfect. Then, it’s settled,” I purr.

“I don’t … I think … I really …,” Beau sputters.

“Did we come at a bad time?” one of the men asks. Dang, I’d forgotten all about them.

“Parker, I’m sorry. Things are … Well, I’m not sure what’s going on, so for now we’re all just going to ignore it,” Beau tries to explain.

“I’m not going to ignore it. It’s already decided,” I murmur under my breath. She shoots me a look that’s either meant to freeze my balls into ice or incinerate me and send me to hell—I’m really not sure which.

“I see you’ve met Slider and Ty? These are my favorite baseball players in the world. They’re the ones I mentioned to you.”

“I’m Slider. Beau is my aunt,” Slider says turning to the two men.

“I’m Ty. Beau’s moving in with my dad.”

“I’m—”

I reach over and pull her to me before Beau can deny what my son said. “Don’t say anything that’s going to make me kiss you to shut you up, Harper.”

“Now, I’m Harper again?” she snaps.

“If you’d like, I could call you my sugar mama, or better yet, yummy-soon-to-be mummy. That seems like a good nickname.”

“Soon to be mummy?” she squeaks, and I think I see steam coming from her ears.

“Too soon to tell you I want more kids?” I ask mildly, still fighting my smile.

“I hate you,” she hisses.

“No, you don’t. That’s why you’re scared, but you don’t need to be, sweetheart. You’re completely safe.”

She growls at me and as the sound rumbles out of her, my dick gets hard as a rock. I give up the fight and let a full-fledged grin slide into place in response. She flips me off, making everyone in the room laugh. Then, she turns around and says, “Boys, this is Parker Huntington and Green Lucas.”

“Woah! Green Lucas?”
