I frowned. She never told me about going to her mom’s. “Where’s that?”
He looked at me from top to bottom and chuckled. “You are whipped or a rich stalker.”
“Both, probably,” I said, pulling out my wallet. “I’ll pay your month’s rent if you tell me her mom’s address.”
His eyes widened, and he stuttered out the address, taking the money I handed him.
“Pleasure doing business with you,” I said to him, slapping his shoulder and leaving her apartment.
Why does her mother’s name seem familiar?
I was going to find out soon, since she lived in Coral Springs.
Chelsea was going to get spanked again if she didn’t have a good enough reason to inform me and call me back.

Isighed and leaned on the glass window of the bus and watched the cars pass by. I should be happy I was going to see my mom after a few months.
But I was going to miss Sean.
I was at the strip club in the morning when he had called me, but I was so busy, I didn’t have the time to call him back. My mom called me to visit her urgently because she had something she needed to tell me in person and even though I argued with her, she wanted me home.
I couldn’t ignore her, hoping Noah would be there.
But going back home also meant seeing Jesse, my ex, who lived next door. I hoped he was not home.
My hand tightened on my phone as I stared at the dark screen. I wanted to call Sean back, but it had died as soon as I sat in the bus. It wouldn’t turn on. I guessed the battery was low. I’d forgotten to charge it since I was in a hurry.
At least now I had a few thousand dollars, my cut from the auction bid. The manager had asked me if I wanted to do the auction again, but I had declined.
I still felt guilty that Sean paid three million dollars for me. All to just take me to a luxurious restaurant, spank me, finger me, use my mouth, and then clean up his sheets and clothes.
Tugging the cardigan closer, I sighed and wondered how I was going to find a proper job and what I’d answer my mom. I couldn’t work as a server at the strip club forever. I had already paid half of my student debt with the money from the auction, but I needed to earn more if I wanted to send money back home. For my mom, and especially Noah.
At least, I’ll get to eat home-cooked meals for a few days.

I panted, pausing my walk and wiping sweat from my forehead. My house was only ten minutes away from the bus stop, but those ten minutes felt like half an hour since I had to pull a heavy suitcase behind me on a slope.
“I need to do more cardio,” I said to myself and tugged the suitcase.
We lived in a suburban area with cozy houses. I reached my home and sighed, staring at the peeling off paint and a well-maintained garden full of flowers.
A smile tugged on my lips as memories of planting those flowers with mom and Noah replayed in my head.
I paused, noticing a car in the driveway. It seemed expensive. I shrugged, even though something about the car seemed familiar, and strolled to the front door.
“Chelsea?” I froze hearing the voice and closed my eyes. Of all the people I could bump into, it had to behim. What a curse it was to live right next door with your ex. A horrible ex. “No way! It is you.”
I sighed and turned around to face Jesse.I can’t avoid him forever. Our moms were good friends and she would tell her about me and then Jesse would eventually come to see me.
Let’s just get this over with.
