“God, you look so fucking pretty taking my cock like this.” He groans, pulling at my hair until I’m standing up, legs spread wide as he pumps up into me.
I feel him start to shake, balls slapping against my red ass. He shoves me up against the wall, my breasts smashed into the tile and my face turned to the side. I love when he’s rough with me, using me like his own personal sex doll. Maybe that makes me fucked up, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I need him to use my body, just as much as he likes for me to use his.
“Take every single drop, baby.” I feel his hot cum fill me up, his grunts hot in my ear as our bodies move together as I draw out his release.
He collapses on top of me, using his forearm to keep himself steady. Kissing me on my shoulder, he turns off the water, and grabs a big fluffy towel for me to step into.
“Go get dressed, they’re all meeting downstairs for dinner. I’ll be there soon.” He says with one more small smack to my behind. It’s raw and aching in the best way. I lift up onto my toes and plant a kiss on his mouth.
“I fucking love you, Walker Hart.”
He grips my face in his rough hands. “You’remine, little wildcat. I will love you until my last breath, and even in death, my love for you will live on.”
“Don’t talk like that. No one is allowed to die. Ever. Happily ever after’s only.”
He chuckles and pulls me into a hug, the towel creating a barrier between us. “If only life worked like that.”
I exit the bathroom and find my room empty. I pull on a black wrap dress and try not to think of Walker’s words. I knew all too well that life can be a cruel bitch, fucking you up the ass raw and leaving you in a ditch full of manure. I just hoped that we all make it out of this mess alive.

Chapter Thirty-Eight
SKYE
SONG: LEFT OUTSIDE ALONE BY ANASTACIA
Istir the stew, watching the spoon disappear beneath the brown chunky liquid. I know I need to eat, but my appetite hasn’t gotten the message. Forcing myself to take a bite, I practically choke around the beef. If I didn’t need the energy, I wouldn’t be rolling around this tasteless meat in my mouth.
Lukas sits next to me, making small circles on my lower back while memories of my mom flit through my mind. I’d had such a happy childhood, but with what Nyx and Hecate have been telling me, then the mom that I thought I knew…. was a monster. I couldn’t make that knowledge fit with my memory of her, no matter how hard I try.
Knowing that my mother is down here, makes me wonder if I would be able to see her again. My last moments with her were wrought with grief, laced in antiseptic and tears. If there is a chance to run into her arms one more time, I don’t think I will be able to pass that up. She’d always given the best hugs. I’d bury my face in her stomach as my small arms reached around her. She smelled like home to me. There’s no way that she’s this evil queen intent on destroying everything. She couldn’t be.
“You okay, baby?” Lukas asks, the concern written all over his face as he looks at me. I force a smile and nod my head, but he knows me too well. “Cut the crap. Talk to me.”
I push the bowl away from me and turn to look at him. “This is just a lot to take in. I mean… we’re in theUnderworldand I find out that my parents are Hades and Persephone, meaning I’m a what? A goddess? And what does that mean for my… dad? Hank? I have so many questions.”
Turning back to the table, I place my elbows on the table and rub my temples feeling the beginnings of a headache starting to bloom. Just perfect.
Salem makes her way across the busy restaurant, finding our section easily. Her hair is damp, and I find myself staring at her face, trying to pick out the similarities in my half-sister. We’d been freakishly linked since we met, and I’d chalked it up to luck. But now, it made sense. Our instant bond. We are sisters by blood.
“Hey.” She says while she plops in the padded bench across the table from us, grabbing a napkin which she plays with between her fingers, twisting the corner of it before a small portion of it tears off. “Food any good?”
“Not really.” I shrug. “You can have mine if you want. I’m not going to eat it.”
“Are you sure? You need to keep up your strength.” I know she means well so I swallow my snippy retort that’s burning on the tip of my tongue to mind her own business. It’s not her fault my world is coming apart. Don’t shoot the messenger and all that. Maybe we all died when we came through the veil, and this was my version of Hell.
“Yeah, I’m sure. I’m not feeling hungry.”
Her mouth twists to the side and I can tell she wants to press the issue but won’t because she respects me. I know she’s waiting for me to ask about everything she knows and honestly, I’m going to need some liquid courage to get there.
“I think I’m going to get a drink at the bar.” Lukas moves out of the booth so I can get past him. I don’t miss the flicker of disappointment that crosses Salem’s face before she digs into my stew.
“Two beers, please.” I ask the woman manning the bar. Tattoos of intricately drawn vines crawl up her bare arms, continuing to her neck and up behind her ear. The design is enchanting, and one that she pulls off flawlessly. Looking at them makes me long for another one. They weren’t kidding when they said they could be addictive. “I love your tattoos.” I say over the music that’s thrumming throughout the place.
She flashes a wolfish smile as she fills two pints up with a frothy looking beer. “Thank you, love.” She says with a wink. As she hands Lukas and I our beers, she looks over my shoulder at the door. Turning, I see Nyx and Hecate enter. The air seems to visibly change with their arrival. No one is overtly staring, but they’re all paying attention. It reminds me of when my dad and I ate at a popular restaurant in L.A. You could always tell when a celebrity showed up. Shoulders would become tense, and glances around the room would become more frequent.
They take a seat across from Salem and I’m torn over going to speak with them or stay right here to enjoy my beer. Curiosity wins out though, and I find myself walking back to the table, sliding in next to Salem.
