I shake my head. “No. Why?”
“Because the rest of his body showed signs of radiation therapy,” Faith answers. “Did he come into contact with radiation?”
“Not that I know of, and I’m guessing if you are asking me, you already talked to Nadine?”
Faith nods in agreement.
“Strange.”
My phone rings.Celia Saber-Mendota.
I glance up at Faith. “I have to take this. I’ll let you know if I come across any more info for you.”
She slips the file back in her bag and exits the office.
I swipe to answer the phone. “Celia? Is everything okay?”
“It’s Cam. She’s missing.”
My blood turns cold. No matter how mad I am at Camellia right now about possibly lying to me, I don’t want to see her hurt.
I sit and numbly listen to Celia tell me more of the bad news.
