“Great.” He mimicked when I pulled back from yet anotherswift kiss. “Then get your cute butt in that bathroom of yours and introduce me to your shower. We smell like sex.”
“Why do I get the feeling youlikethat we smell like sex?” I quirked an eyebrow at him.
“Damn, you know me so well already.”
Shaking my head at him, he smacked my ass playfully, my dick twitching from where it was sandwiched between our bodies. He lightly thrusted his hips against me.
“Someone wants a round three already.”
“Will you just get in the shower already?”
As we laughed, I rolled off him and got out of my bed, taking in the sight of Qwill's handsome smile as he followed suit. I led him to the bathroom that was connected to my bedroom and bent over to start the shower. When I did, Qwill cooed in interest and I had to shake my head as I kept adjusting the temperature of the water. Once I deemed it a happy medium of hot and cold, I turned to see the inquisitive look on his face.
“What is it?”
“I was wondering,” Qwill nodded.
“Sounds dangerous.” I joked.
“I’ve been talking about you to one of my friends and he suggested a double date.”
“You want to go on a double date?”
“Only if you'd feel comfortable being seen out with me. I know we had the date last night at the club but—”
“Qwill,” I stopped, putting my finger to his lips. “I don't want you to think I'm embarrassed to be seen with you, so let me dispel that now. It's an honor to be next to you. Being on a double date with your friend doesn't change that.”
The pride and happiness that brightened his cheeks was probably the cutest he'd ever looked, if that was possible. He kissed my finger as I removed it, both of us beaming at each other.
“So you're down for the double date.”
“Just let me know when you're thinking and I'll make sure I'm not working.”
“Great. Now can you get your cute butt in the shower?”
Confidently, I turned around to face the shower, transitioning the faucet so the shower would start as I wagged my ass at him. I heard a low growl coming from behind me as I felt his eyes on me.
“Only if you follow me in.”
“Tease.”
Chuckling, I stepped inside the shower. Qwill quickly followed, and we fell into a kiss as we pulled the other close. Our kiss throbbed with intent as the water sprayed our bodies, and I couldn't help but think that I could really get used to this.
Chapter 14
Days passedafter the exciting tantric tussle in my bed with Qwill. I'd been pretty busy with work since, but we'd settled on tonight for our double date with his friend. I was nervous, but genuinely excited. Having more people there took a little bit of the edge off that I was going on my second date with a sexy as fuck Orb. The fact that it was another human and Orb couple joining us just settled my fears even more.
Qwill didn't tell me anything other than the friend of his was the Orb in the relationship, so I didn't have a lot to go off of. I could have pressed for more information, but it didn't matter to me. I was going out with Qwill and sharing dinner with some important people to him. That was enough for me.
“What are you planning on wearing?” Troian's voice was like an alarm, ringing me out of my thoughts and back to the present. “Please tell me you're going to update this wardrobe, it's dreadful.”
I scoffed as my twin started digging in my closet and occasionally letting out grunts of disapproval. “Don't get your panties in a twist, I was going to go shopping for a new outfit.”
“Thank God.” Troian smirked, walking out of my closet. “You have money now, Thayer. Your closet should be the first thing to reflect that.”
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at my brother. The money he'd given me was just sitting in my bank account gaining interest, only touching my own funds for the time being. I didn't know how to live the lifestyle Troian was determined for me to settle in to. But I wasn't ready to apply that particular new addition to my life yet. I was more interested in getting Qwill in my bed again.
“I haven't even used any of it yet,” I admitted. “It's gonna take me some time to realize I don't need to worry about finances for a while.”
