Matty abhorred horror movies, so I hadn’t been able to watch them at my leisure as much as I would have liked. Giving Wrex the biggest smile, I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. “Sounds perfect.”
“Also,” Wrex said, accepting my kiss with a close-eyed moan that was just too adorable for words. “I meant to mention it before we had radical sex, but,” He gave me a tilted smirk. “Maybe, with taking things slow, we can check in with each other at the end of the work week, see if the other is available that weekend to spend time together and go from there. It doesn’t have to be every weekend seeing each other, and straying from weekends only is fine as long as we keep an open line of communication with each other.”
“Wrex,” After swallowing the food in my mouth, I grabbed his head with both hands, kissing him roughly at first. “You really are perfect.”
“So true,” He retorted with a snort. “But that’s a yes to the checking in with each other, weekend thing?”
“It’s afuckyes.” I assured him. “It’s exactly what I think both of us need.”

Drivingmyself outside the city wasn’t a usual Sunday occurrence for me, but it was definitely a needed one.
