Callum wraps his arms around my back and starts flapping his wings. He flaps them slow and steady and in seconds we’re levitating off the bed. I look on either side of me, because obviously if you are off the bed on your right side, there’s still a chance you aren’t on your left, she says sarcastically.

My hands move to wrap around him, but they’d hit his wings, so I do this sort of weird arm dance looking move, then stop.

He smiles, “Wrap them around my neck. I won’t let you fall.”

I wrap them around his neck and he kisses me slowly as he continues to thrust his cock inside of me.

IN. THE. FREAKING. AIR.

“Let your body relax. Trust me.” He looks at me, his blue and golden eyes sparkling.

“Ok.” I let go and my legs, arms, and head fall towards the ground, while his thrusts pick up speed.

He flaps his wings and we go a little higher and I feel my entire body clench and he lets out a moan. “Can’t do that, babe. I will come right now and there’s so much more I want to show you first.”

True to their word, they claimed every hole multiple times, and I had twenty-three orgasms before I fell asleep. I don’t know what the future holds exactly, but for the first time in a long time I’m so excited.

Epilogue

SEVENMONTHSLATER

“Pass the potatoes”! Lizzy cries, reaching out her hand.

“No,” Jax snaps back.

“Ev,” Lizzy whines. “Tell your boy I don’t want to lay the witch’s elbow on him,” she says, rubbing her elbow.

“You don’t scare me.”

“Jax. Please?” I ask, sticking out my bottom lip and rubbing his leg.

He looks at me, but doesn’t move, so I inch my hand up higher. He still doesn’t move, but a sly smile crosses his lips. I move my hand to the bottom of his shorts. A moment later, I see another hand on his leg sliding up and nearly explode in laughter. Knox has his shoulder shrugged and touching his cheek as he bats his eyelashes quickly at Jax.

Jax looks at him and his eyes darken and a ferocious growl escapes.

“Fine.” He holds up his hands. “You weren’t complaining last night, though.”

“Knox.”

He sticks out his tongue at me just as Jax hands Lizzy the potatoes. She grabs them, then scoops out a spoon for her and Tony. They’ve been together since they came back from Helsgard. They were there for two weeks, having to explain all the events that led up to them locating the Mist of Morreux and trapping a Djinn with it. Callum, Jax, Emmett, Knox, Brady, and I had to go up for three days of questioning. It was scary, because even though we did them a huge favor, they were not thrilled with the way we handled it. Apparently, we didn’t know what we were doing and put ourselves and many others in danger.

We think Tony worked some backroom deals to get them to take it easy on us since our hearts were in the right place and at the end of the day, Helsgard got what they wanted. Tony said they needed to make a show of force for everyone watching, so they put us on a one-year probation. We can’t get in trouble during that year or else we’ll end up in a Helsgard prison.

No. Thank. You.

Brady is mostly back to normal, although at times he still has moments of weakness. We’ve remodeled the basement and made it his permanent home. Out of the cage, of course. There’s an access door from outside so he can come and go as he pleases, but for the most part he stays around the house. He’s so thankful, he’s become the driver for the house. I think it allows him some freedom, but also keeps the guys close by in case something happens. He would include me in all that too, but I don’t feel like I did much to help him throughout the course of the Mist.

Knox has taken over Allure and now manages it. I help when I’m not running the bookshop. He’s a brilliant manager there, even though Jax had his doubts at first. I’ve learned that Knox is one of those personalities that is always joking, but when something matters, he digs in and digs in hard.

Jax and Callum remodel the club they had Brady in and name it Vixen after me. After little fae, it’s their next favorite name to call me. It’s opening in another three or four months. Lizzy has already been coming up with themed events they can do there to get business. As you can imagine, Jax has been super thrilled. At least that’s what he pretends. I’m pretty sure he actually likes several of her ideas, even if he won’t admit it.

And last, my dearest Emmett. He followed his dream of owning a restaurant. He’s calling it the Good Life. It’s very simple, but elegant. He’s digging into his French roots and recipes and going to make it truly exquisite. We’re here today to sample several of the dishes he’s thinking about offering there. He’s not sure if he wants to do small plates so tables can mix and match or if he wants to make it standard size. Whatever he decides, it’s going to be great.

Ok, I guess this is the last piece. Me. I’m great. Living my absolute best life. My parents are going to visit in a month. They know about the guys and have been on several video chats with them. Of course, my mother couldn’t be happier for me. Four men. Can you imagine? My brother is also happy for me. He’s trying to convince my parents to accept his choice of joining a mundane’s firehouse for a job. He wants to give back to the humans and thinks that a fire station is the best place, since fires can’t hurt him. I’m happy for him. I’m happy for everyone.

I’m just happy in general.
