George immediately gets Liam and me sweet tea, and we sit on barstools and chat with Macey and Riley.

“Y’all can just film in here if you want,” Macey offers. “At least, there’s A/C.”

“They want to film the ranch experience, baby.”

I turn toward the low drawl and immediately recognize Logan Wild, Macey’s husband, who’s carrying a baby in his arms.

Logan was in Montana a couple of years ago, and I met him when I was at the ranch.

He greets me warmly, and I introduce him to Liam.

“I met your brother a while back in Montana,” he says. “Jared. Congrats on y’all’s success in your careers. Four brothers to make the pros?” He whistles. “Amazing.”

Logan is a handsome cowboy, and he and Macey have been in love with each other pretty much their entire lives. Their love story is delightful and inspiring from the little I’ve heard.

He slips behind the bar and gives Macey a long kiss. Their baby coos contentedly between them while Logan slides his free arm around Macey’s waist and pulls her in for another kiss.

“God, y’all,” Riley wrinkles her nose. “We all know how you made a baby. Let’s keep the PDA down, shall we?”

“You’re just jealous.” A handsome young man walks behind the bar.

“Shut up, Ben.” Riley turns to Liam and me. “Meet my little brother, Benjamin Henwood. He thinks he knows everything.”

“And he usually does,”’ Macey says as she steps back from Logan’s embrace and reaches for the baby. “This here is our daughter, Kendall.”

Kendall smiles at us.

“She’s always smiling!” Riley says.

“She’s gorgeous,” Liam says. “Congratulations.”

I smile at Kendall. “She’s beautiful,” I agree.

Logan places her in Macey’s arms, and she turns to me. “Do you have siblings, Haley?”

“A sister. She’s younger.” And, because I’m in that kind of a mood, I add, “She pushes my buttons.”

Macey laughs. “That’s what little sisters are for, aren’t they, Riles?” She gives her sister a good-natured shoulder shake.

Riley’s beautiful. All blonde hair and long legs with gorgeous blue eyes. She smirks at Macey. “Big sisters are huge pains in the ass. Luckily, sometimes they marry the love of their life and have beautiful little daughters. I love to spoil my niece.”

Kendall shifts to get out of her mother’s arms, but Macey snuggles her closer.

“She’s crawling everywhere already,” Macey says. “And I can’t watch her and talk to y’all at the same time.” She says to Kendall, “We’ll do a big crawling adventure after your nap, baby.”

Ben, Logan, and Liam start chatting about bronc riding, and then their conversation turns to daily ranch chores, which Logan admits he hates.

“Ben used to do my chores for me. That’s why I’m not taking over the ranch,” he says. “I’m an artist, not a rancher. But my brothers are all cowboys through and through. They’ll show you anything you want to know.”

As he’s talking, I get an idea.

“Hey, Logan? Is it okay if Liam participates in one of the simple ranch chores so he can be part of my video?”

“Sure,” Logan says.

Liam turns to me. “Darling, I don’t want to be on your video.”

“If it’s because of your brand, I’m thinking we’ll put a cowboy hat on you and only show your profile or your back so no one will recognize you,” I assure him.
