With each thrust, I get closer to the edge until I’m dangling on the brink of ecstasy.
We each cry out at the same time. His name is on my lips and mine on his as he clutches me to him.
“We’re not finished.” He kisses me hard and then pulls out of me slowly but doesn’t put me down on the floor.
“Where are we going?” I ask as he starts walking with me in his arms.
“The bed.” He turns the corner into the bedroom and drops down onto the bed.
Louie’s still sleeping at the foot, and he gives her a pat and a snuggle.
“Missed you, little one,” he says as she purrs.
I grab my phone to take a photo.
“I’m naked,” Jared protests as he puts up his hand to block me.
“So? These pictures are just for the three of us.”
He chuckles. “The three of us? You think Louie wants a copy of this photo?”
Louie’s purrs grow as Jared and I spar. She stands up, arches her back, and leans in for more pets. Jared obliges until he picks her up gently and puts her on the floor.
“We’ll hang out more later,” he promises her. “Right now, I’m a little busy.”
“With what?” I ask him.
“I want to do what we just did all over again…but slow this time.”
“How slow?” I stare up into his gorgeous face. His brown eyes are heated and his lips swollen from kissing me.
“So slow that you’ll be screaming for me to go faster.” He kisses each of my cheeks and then my lips.
He kisses my jaw. And then my neck. By the time he reaches my breasts, he’s right. I’m begging him to speed up.
“Not this time,” he says. “This time, we’re taking our sweet time, darling.”
He pulls the sheets up over our heads and travels south.

Two more orgasms later, we finally come up for air.
Jared sits up against the headboard as I lean my head against his shoulder.
“How was your flight home?” I ask him.
He chuckles. “It was good. Feels like a million hours ago.”
“We’ve been a little busy, so I forgot to ask you.”
“Speaking of forgetting…” He reaches across me to retrieve his cell phone out of his pants pocket.
“Yeah?”
The seriousness of his tone has me sitting up straight and looking at him with concern. “Everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine.” He scrolls through his phone before looking up at me. “Ash, I have something to show you.”
