Speaking of my Alphas, Aiden and Sloane decided to continue working with Harlan and the guys, but they did officially move to Widows Peak. They packed up all their belongings and brought them here. They might have to leave for missions every once in a while, but knowing that they are coming home to Emmett and me when they’re done is a blessing.

I’ve been working at the club right up until last month. The guys wanted me to take a step back sooner, but I was going out of my mind st home and started showing up at the club anyway. I’m not built to sit on my butt and do nothing. I need to keep busy.

Now with the baby coming next month and seeing that I’m way too big to be exerting myself, I’m officially on maternity leave.

With everything going on, I’ve hardly had the chance to breathe. t’s been the good kind of busy, though; the kind that leaves me fulfilled.

I’m excited to take things slow for a while, to sit back and enjoy being a mom.

However, today is not going to be a quiet, relaxing day because it’s the day of my baby shower.

Silva has been a busy bee all morning. Any time I tried to help, she shooed me away. So I’ve been sitting on the couch, my feet up and snacking to my heart's content.

All the guys are at Silva’s place having guy time. Harlan was so damn happy when he found out he is going to be an uncle, proud of his little brother. Seeing their bond reminds me of Silva and me.

When we found out it was a girl, all the men started plotting how they would get rid of bodies when she reaches dating age. I wasn’t sure if they were joking or not, but they better be.

Still, knowing there are so many people in this little one’s corner makes me fear less about what her future is going to be like.

The girls come over, and we play games, open gifts, and I cry like a baby at every single gift because I’m hormonal and these girls are just so damn amazing.

“Can you believe it?” Aries says, smiling over at us. “We’re starting to make our own little Widows.”

I smile back, my hand resting on my belly. “I’m excited. What we built...” I look around the room. “It’s something amazing. We did this, girls. We built a place where people can be free to be themselves, safe from the evils of the outside world. It wasn’t easy, and it took years, but we did it.”

“Ten years ago, if you asked me if this is where I thought I’d be, I’d have laughed in your face,” Luna says. “Sometimes, I wake up, and I wonder how this is even possible.”

“We might not be able to save them all, but every person we’re able to help means something,” Lark says. “And that's good enough for me.”

“We’re changing the world one person at a time,” Briar adds.

“I love you girls.” Silva smiles. “I hate how fate threw us together, but I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else.”

Neither could I.

“Hey, Kitten. How was the party?”

It’s later in the day now, and the sun is starting to set. The guys just came back from Silva’s after everyone had left. I had to force Silva to go home when she started to clean up. I reminded her that she did enough by putting the party together and that my men can clean it up.

“It was good.” I smile up at him from my place on the couch. He leans down and presses a kiss to my lips.

I moan, shivering at his touch.

He chuckles. “Is my Omega turned on?”

“When am I not?” I groan, already feeling the slick between my thighs.

“What do you want to do?” Aiden asks, sitting on the edge of the coffee table. “Want us to run you a bath?”

“Or massage your feet?” Emmett offers.

“Orgasms?” Sloane offers up. “I’ll make you cum so hard you pass out for the night.”

“All three,” I sigh. “Clean me, rub me, fuck me.”

They all chuckle. “Anything for you, sweetheart.”

Emmett heads upstairs to start the bath as Aiden and Sloane pull me to my feet. “I feel so fat,” I huff.
