Luc gripped Dex’s jaw, holding him in place. “Dex.” The warning in his tone was unmistakable. “You know how to end this if you need to.”
Stopping was the last thing on Dex’s mind. He shook his head, hardly budging within Luc’s grasp. “Don’t stop. Green. I need to come. Luc, please.”
“Not yet. I like you trembling with need. Allmine.”
Dex stomped his foot like a child, lost to any other action, and Luc smiled. Fire burned Dex’s insides, and he loved it as much as he hated it.
He took a breath, trying his best to steady himself. Agonizing moments passed, and at last, he wasn’t about to blow his load.
Now that he was thinking more clearly, he wasn’t ready for this to end.
“All right,” Dex gasped. “Give me another chance.”
Luc released him so fast, he would have fallen if not for the tail around his hips. “Don’t let me catch you.” The command was more growl than spoken word.
Dex’s chest heaved. He was still hard, but his growing need to escape overshadowed everything else.
The wall of men encircling them remained. They’d drawn back without Dex realizing, giving him space, but no way out.
How was he supposed to get away?
The beat changed, and a gap in the crowd opened like a biblically parted sea, leaving a clear path to the exit. Dex took off at full speed, racing down the dance floor.
The club door banged open in front of Dex of its ownaccord. Luc must be giving him a way out, but Dex didn’t turn around to check how closely he followed.
He burst into the night, air cool on his sweat-slick skin. The bouncers didn’t even flinch, and everyone in line ignored him. Dex’s skin crawled. With an agonized roar, he took off down the sidewalk without a care for where he was going.
Feet pounding the pavement, Dex ran. His arms pumped, his breath tearing harshly from his lungs. Lights turned green as he came upon them, and he flew across intersections without looking.
Luc had control. Dex was safe to be terrified and flee through the night. He knew it in his bones. He couldn’t hear Luc behind him, but he was there, manipulating the world around them. His attention burned into Dex’s soul.
Dex turned a corner and ran harder. He didn’t know where he was. He turned again, finding the next street almost completely deserted.
He chanced a look over his shoulder. Luc stood in the middle of the intersection, nothing but a silhouette with huge wings beneath the city lights.
Dex didn’t stop, running farther from the populated area. His muscles burned. He wouldn’t last much longer.
One more corner. He could make it that far, and then, he didn’t know.
Dex skidded around the bend and crashed into Luc. Hands closed around Dex’s biceps and squeezed, a snarl filling the night. The scream that came from Dex seemed to have a mind of its own, shredding his throat until he sputtered incoherently.
Somehow, he wrenched from Luc’s grasp and twisted away. Run. He had to run. This was his last chance to escape.
Luc grabbed Dex and hauled him back. He couldn’t get enough air to scream. Dex struggled, tripping and losing his balance.
He fell, his arms flying out to catch himself, but Luc’s arms wrapped around his middle and hauled him upward, saving him from the impact and setting him gently on all fours.
Then, Luc was on him, his body bracketing Dex.
Luc’s breath was harsh in his ear. “Mine.”
Dex had no control over the sounds coming from him, more animal than human, and he’d never been harder, his clothes too much and not enough friction for his poor, denied cock. His palms stung as he scrambled for purchase on the sidewalk, resisting the urge to touch himself.
Luc tore Dex’s shirt in two and pressed his hot chest against Dex’s bare back. With another violent tug, Dex’s pants ripped. Then his boxer briefs. Luc shredded the fabric until Dex was exposed to the knees.
“Please, please,” Dex found himself chanting, his words slurred, the night air providing no relief to his exposed, straining erection.
Luc’s fangs found his throat, and he bit down with an obscene moan. Dex whimpered with the pleasure, not even registering the pain.
