Understanding dawned on Luc’s face. “You want a demon who scares you, thrills you, and then holds you after?”
“Yes,” Dex moaned. That was exactly what he wanted. Desire coursed through his blood like a raging river, begging to be mapped in vivid detail.
Dex wanted to give himself over to fear while Luc made sure it was okay. And he could. Luc’s care was as real as his desire to possess Dex, and he wouldn’t cross any lines Dex didn’t want him to.
“I want all those things too.” Luc peeled the covers back, exposing Dex’s lap and tented boxer briefs. “I like the idea of letting loose with you. Of you embracing all of me.”
“Yes, I want all of you. That’s exactly it.”
Luc loomed over Dex, pinning him by the jaw to the headboard, and Dex had never been so aware of his body, his vulnerability.
He arched into Luc’s hold. “Feed from me. Show me what it’s like when you hunt someone. When you won’t let them get away.”
Fire danced in Luc’s eyes. “My actual hunting habits are far less exciting. Hypnosis and illusion take away all the fun, but I won’t use any of that on you. You’re dying to feel it all, aren’t you?”
Dex nodded, his breath stuttering.
Luc licked his lips. “Good, because I’m dying to taste you.”
Dex squirmed, ready to take himself in hand and fuck hisfist. “Do it.”
“We should probably have a discussion first. You said you had questions, but I don’t feel like talking. I want you, and if you want a thrill, then that’s what I’ll give you.”
“I want it.”
“Good.” Luc released Dex and slunk toward the end of the bed.
Dex’s head spun. Where was he going? Before he could beg Luc not to leave, Luc whipped the covers back, grabbed Dex’s ankles, and yanked him down the bed.
Dex yelped, the sweater riding up and exposing his stomach as he slid along the sheets. In a blink, Luc was on him, eyes glowing red and horns curling out of his hair where there’d been none before.
Luc bared his teeth, and his canines lengthened into sharp fangs. Dex’s stomach flipped. They were so long. No way having those monstrous points burred in his neck wouldn’t hurt. Luc growled, and the deep vibrations sent chills cascading through Dex.
He sucked in harsh breath after breath. When had he begun panting?
“Fuck, your pulse is thundering. Your arousal is so potent.” Luc hummed as if satisfied. “Do you like feeling trapped?”
Dex closed his eyes, hoping to heighten the already intense sensation. “Yes, I—I do.”
Luc’s approving rumble had goosebumps erupting on Dex’s skin. “I love holding down eager prey. Playing with a desperate boy who can’t escape my hold. Will you be my prey, my desperate boy, Dex?”
Dex didn’t even consider holding back. Admitting what he wanted was easy when he knew it turned Luc on, too.
“Yes,” he moaned. “Hold me down. Restrain me. Please.”
Luc’s hands mapped his torso, and he gripped Dex’s hips, pressing him into the mattress. Luc was in control, and Dexdidn’t have to worry. It was better than a fantasy. All Dex had to do was let Luc crush him. Hopefully, Luc wouldn’t let go no matter how much he struggled.
The pressure of Luc’s grip increased. “How will I know if it’s too much? If you change your mind?”
Dex opened his eyes. The lack of menace in Luc’s tone jolted him out of the moment. He wasn’t stopping, was he? Dex might die if he did.
“It won’t be too much.”
Luc’s smile stretched into a feral grin made even more chilling by his fangs and burning eyes. “Perfect, but if you say stop, I will. And don’t hesitate to say it. I don’t enjoy forcing myself on anyone. I’ll get off on you enjoying this. On knowing you want it.”
“What if I want to tell you no. To say stop and for you to keep going anyway?” This was a fantasy Dex had never planned to voice, but who better to share it with? Luc wouldn’t judge him for wanting this, wouldn’t tell him it was wrong.
Not when Luc desired to possessallof him.
