“Get up.” He tugged at her seat, pulling it out, and she rose to meet him. His eyes burned into hers. If she had a fantasy tonight, he was going to deliver.

It didn’t take Sean long to find a private alcove outside the ballroom. The second floor of the hotel was a maze of large ballrooms and banquet halls. Many had been repurposed for tonight’s large-scale, multi-event evening. He led her down one of the hallways, away from all the crowds, then turned into a corner tucked behind a mahogany stairwell. There they were completely hidden from view.
The velvet carpet was a rich swirl of deep reds and golds. The cream walls, with gold-tinted sidings, added to the sensual feel and heightened her anticipation for the up-against-a-wall sex she was about to have.Hopedshe was about to have.
Sean pressed her back against the wall, covering her. And even though they were about to PDA in a very big way, she was safe and protected.
Bending down, he took her mouth on a hot, wet ride that stole her breath and had her moaning softly in under five seconds.
“You’re so beautiful. So fucking gorgeous I can hardly stand it.” He yanked her dress up her legs in hard, determined tugs. “The way you look at me. It makes me feel like I’m the only man that exists.”
“You are,” she panted, as his fingers found the satin edge of her panties. “To me, you are.”
On a satisfied growl, he dragged her panties down, cool air hitting her skin as the fabric left her body.
He’d never been this rough with her. Never this impassioned. Every movement was a step closer to his end goal of taking her up against the wall. And she was on board with it, fully present in his pursuit. He was headed in the same direction as her, and as long as they were going in the same direction, wanting the same thing, she realized it didn’t matter what he was doing. Everything he did turned her on because they were in it together. They both held the power. Together.
The clink of his belt buckle opening dropped her attention to his crotch.
“Sean,” she whispered as he freed himself.
Every time she saw him, there was a moment of awe. He was so big it made no sense that he could fit into her. But he did. He fit perfectly, every time. Knowing the heights he could take her to made her body ache with anticipation.
“I’m going to go hard, Ivy. And fast. Are you with me?” He hoisted her up in one fluid movement, pinning her to the wall with his hips as he positioned himself to enter her.
Ivy nodded frantically, delirious with need, desperate for wanting.
“Say it.”
“Yes. I’m with you. All the way with you.”
“Eyes,” he demanded, and she obeyed him, her gaze locking on his.
In one powerful thrust, he lodged himself fully inside her. They gasped in unison, their breath stolen by the blissful friction their joining created. His pace increased, his pelvis rubbing her sensitive flesh.
It was crazy. They weren’t even undressed. There was a party happening not far from where they were. It was exciting. And the thrill only fueled her desire.
Sean’s tempo increased, and he dropped his face into the crook of her neck, grunting softly, murmuring almost unintelligibly. She only caught the words likeeverything, soul, andperfect. But more than his words, Ivyfeltwhat he was trying to say. And soon she was quaking around him, her body combusting in an explosion of sensations and total fulfillment.
When he thickened inside her, preparing to meet her in her climax, he began to thrust madly, until he went rigid, pressing his forehead into hers as he let go. And her own body responded, drawing out his release. It completed her satisfaction—knowing she’d brought him his own.
After a long moment, he withdrew, slowly setting her back on her feet. “Good thing you’re wearing a long dress, because you’re going to feel me dripping down your thighs the rest of the night, sweet girl.”
That was it. She was toast. If this was Sean unfiltered, she wasn’t going back to the other version. After he’d re-buckled his belt, he glanced over his shoulder, then bent, using her underwear to gently clean the worst of the mess from inside of her thighs.
The way he talked to her, rough and dirty, then touched her like she was his most cherished gift—if her heart hadn’t been lost to him already, the last ten minutes would have done it.
“I’m going to take you home and shower you. Then we need to talk about some things. After that, we’re going to do this again, but slow and sweet. All night long. As many times as we can.”
His words made her insides dissolve into complete goo. It didn’t seem real. After all that happened, all she’d been through, she’d found him. Everything in her life—it had all led her to him.
The euphoria of the evening left her dazed as she said her goodbyes, ignoring Hope’s knowing smile and Joel’s smirk. Gabe clapped Sean on the shoulder and murmured something that had both men chuckling. Sean’s hand rode low on her back the whole time. He never broke the connection. Not as they collected their coats from the coat check, not as they exited the hotel, and not the whole car ride home.
By the time they pulled up in front of their apartment, Ivy was primed and ready to go another eight rounds or so. She had nothing on her mind but Sean until they climbed the steps to their apartments and she saw a man sitting in the hall by Sean’s door.
She’d forgotten the surprise she’d organized to be waiting for him at home. She hadn’t remembered to give the man a warning or a heads up like she’d planned. She’d been so full of Sean, of the evening they’d shared and the anticipation for what he’d promised was yet to come, that she’d forgotten about Jordan.
