What the fuck? You’re married, Rafe?

James

Not telling us first is something you’ll never live down.

Rafe

It happened very fast.

Alex

Someone explain it to me.

James

His new wife gets another set of shares when she marries, and by marrying Montclair, those get combined with his stake. So now he has majority.

West

It’s smart. Your sister is still livid, by the way, Rafe. Thank you for putting me in that position.

Rafe

She would have tried totalk me out of it.

James

You knew, West?

Rafe

He was my witness at the courthouse wedding in New York. And before either of you say anything, I wasn’t going to ask you to fly out for what’s essentially a business merger.

Alex

Two seconds, Montclair.

Rafe

Two seconds what?

Alex

That’s how long a single text would have taken you.

West

In my defense, I was told ten minutes before the ceremony what I was there to witness.

James

And what now? Is this revenge for what Ben Wilde did to your sister?

Rafe

Yes. He loves his company. His whole identity and ego are tied up in it. And now it’s mine, and I’m going to make it more successful than he ever could.
