“Well, open the damn thing and find out!” Sean snipped with a smirk.
Jordan ripped the paper off and opened the box with a loud gasp. He pulled a navy-blue suit from the box and everyone joined in the gasping as he showed it off.
“Holy shit! It’s a Brioni suit! I’ve always wanted one of these!” Jordan smiled, his eyes wide and glassy.
“I know!” Dean winked. “That’s why I bought it for you.”
Jordan leapt out of his chair, wrapped his arms around Dean, and lifted him off the floor. “Thank you…so much!”
Dean giggled as Jordan finally put him down. “You’re very welcome, Jordan…all of you. Now, who’s ready for a holiday feast?”
Chapter 28
Colton
Colton aimlessly walked through his downtown apartment. He’d been up for hours, with nothing to do.
The season was over.
The team made it deep into the playoffs, losing to Detroit in the NFC championship game. The game was decided by a last-minute field goal, final score 24-21.
It was a heartbreaking loss, being so close to the championship and helplessly watching it fall through your grips from the sideline, powerless to stop it. But even though they were disappointed, the team felt good about their performance and were hopeful to make it all the way next season.
But now, with no practice, and no games, Colton was a little stir crazy.
Although he was meeting Dean for lunch at the loft a little later, that was still three hours away and Colton didn’t know what to do with himself in the meantime. With nothing else tooccupy his mind, all he could think about was Dean and kissing his beautiful lips and neck.
It’s what had awakened him way too early that morning, and had been his only thought ever since. He continued to pace, counting down the minutes until he could rush over to the loft to be with Dean.
“Fuck it!” he grumbled, grabbing his phone.
Colton: Hey! I’ve got nada to do, and it’s making me crazy! Mind if I come over a little earlier?
Dean: NOT AT ALL! Come anytime you want! Been thinking about you all morning!
Colton grinned, snatched up his keys, and hit the road.
Since they had crossed the line from friends-who-occasionally-hung-out to friends-that-frequently-kiss, they tended to meet up almost every day, even if it was only for a quick lunch or something trivial.
When they had more time, they played rounds of golf, went sailing on the bay, worked out together, shared meals together…and make-out sessions all around the loft.
Colton stepped off the elevator and let himself in the front door. Other than a casual lunch at the loft, they had nothing planned, so he had dressed down for the day, wearing gray sweatpants, a Niners sweatshirt, and a blue puffer jacket.
When Dean looked him up and down from his position at the kitchen island with a hungry look in his eyes, Colton's smile widened.
“Damn, you look sexy,” Dean said, licking his lips.
Colton laughed out loud and looked down at his outfit. “I’m wearing sweats. This is sexy?”
Dean licked his lips again. “Oh, you have no idea.”
Colton stepped into the kitchen. “Thanks for letting me come over early. I was going crazy with nothing to do.”
Dean chuckled and patted his shoulder. “It’s no problem. I was working on the tour setlist, and I just finished a meeting about venues, stage layouts, costume designs, hotels, and meals. It was all making my head spin. So this” —he waved his hand up and down in front of Colton— “is a welcome distraction.”
Dean crowded Colton against the countertop and pressed a kiss to his neck. “Damn, your ass looks so good in those sweats,” he said, his voice deep and breathless as he nipped his earlobe. “It’s making me so fuckin’ hot.”
Dean pressed his hard cock against Colton’s thigh and Colton went rock hard in an instant. Colton grabbed the back of Dean’s head and pulled him into a hungry kiss as Dean grabbed a handful of Colton’s ass and squeezed, their moans filling the kitchen.
