I leaned back just enough to look at her, smirkin’ slow ‘cause we both knew I won that round without even tryin’.
She rolled her eyes, but her smile slipped through anyway as she reached for her bag.
I stepped back, lettin’ her walk past me, but my eyes stayed glued to her.
She locked up behind us, and we walked to the whip side by side, her fingers laced with mine. I opened the door for her, helpin’ her in like the true gentleman I was.
As I drove, I glanced over at her, noticin’ the way the streetlights hit her face and made them green eyes pop.
She ain’t ask where we was goin’, and I ain’t have to ask her what she wanted, ‘cause I already knew. I been watchin’ this woman long enough to learn her habits, and her cravings.
I just took the turn I always take when I want my baby fed and relaxed, headin’ straight to the spot she never say out loud but always reach for first.
She looked over at me once, soft and settled, and I kept drivin’, leadin’ us where I knew she wanted to be without either one of us havin’ to speak on it.
DRAHMA TOWN
See, leave it up to a nigga like me and I was gon’ have yo’ ass all around town, ‘cause once I feed my woman and she happy, I be feelin’ generous as hell with the night.
I slid over to one of them after hour spots we always end up at when neither one of us ready to go home yet.
Soon as I stepped out the car, I felt that familiar buzz in my chest, not from the liquor but from knowin’ I was walkin’ in with my girl on my arm, lookin’ good as hell and smilin’ like she already knew she was about to have a time. Reni had that glow on her, gorgeous, lips glossy as hell and her hips movin’ before the music even hit her ears, and I laughed to myself ‘cause she really couldn’t help it. That was just her spirit.
The door cracked open and it was like the noise spilled out into the street with the bass thumpin’ heavy, smoke already floatin’ through the air, and lights flashin’ like everybody inside forgot it was late as hell. The bouncer peeped me and nodded like he always did. There wasn’t no questions, no pat down; just respect, and I gave him that dap back before I pulled Reni in front of me and guided her through the door.
Inside, it was love off rip. Niggas was callin’ my name, slappin’ my hand, pullin’ me in for quick hugs like we hadn’t just seen each other yesterday, and Reni was laughin’ the whole time ‘cause she loved seein’ me in my element. I kept my hand on her lower back, not even thinkin’ about it, just lettin’ everybody know she was with me and I was with her.
We made our way to the VIP section where Mecca and her nigga Y.B. was already set up, with drinks on the table and smoke rollin’ thick, and soon as Reni saw Mecca she let go of me for half a second to squeal and hug her, then she was right back in my lap like she never left. I pulled her in close and wrapped my arm around her waist while my other hand rested on her thick thigh, my thumb movin’ slow like muscle memory.
The music was jumpin’ and Reni was rappin’ every word like she wrote the damn song, arm in the air, head throwin’ back and her body movin’ on beat while she sat right here on me. I leaned back, sparked my blunt and laughed ‘cause she was so damn extra, and I loved every bit of it. She turned her head and yelled the lyrics in my face, her eyes bright and playful, then leaned in and kissed me quick before goin’ right back to vibin’.
“Why you always so loud,” I said in her ear, smilin’ even though I knew damn well I loved it.
“‘Cause I can, nigga!” she shot back, grindin’ her hips just enough to make me suck my teeth.
I shook my head and tightened my grip on her waist. “Sexy ass.”
Mecca laughed from across the table and Y.B. lifted his cup like he was toastin’ to us, and that’s when I realized how easy it felt, and how natural it was for me and Reni to just be us without thinkin’ too hard about it. We wasn’t performin’ for nobody. We was just enjoyin’ each other.
Drinks kept comin’, smoke kept passin’, and the night moved on without me even checkin’ the time. I watched Reni dancein my lap, then hop up and dance in front of me just to turn around and drop back down like she wanted to make sure I was still payin’ attention. I stayed rubbin’ on her back, her sides, her round, plump ass and her thighs, whisperin’ lil’ jokes in her ear that made her laugh mid-song, and every time she laughed it felt like I did somethin’ right.
At some point she leaned down and pressed her forehead to mine, breath warm against my lips. “You havin’ a good time, baby?”
I nodded. “Always when I’m with you. When we get to the crib, I’mma tear that ass up.”
She smiled soft at that, then kissed me slow before standin’ back up and pullin’ me with her. “Come on, let’s go. I’m ready to go now.”
I ain’t even argue. I grabbed her hand, said quick goodbyes, and we slid out the spot just like we slid in, smooth and unbothered.
Outside, the night air felt cooler, and I let out a breath I ain’t even realize I’d been holdin’ as I opened the passenger door for her.
She slid in the seat slow, lookin’ back at me like she knew I was watchin’ her ass move.
I shut the door, walked around, and climbed behind the wheel. The city lights passed by slow while some trap shit played low, and for a minute it felt like it was just us and the road.
Her fingers found my dick through my jeans, rubbin’ me like she was tryna get my shit hard and when I cut my eyes over at her, she was lookin’ at me with this soft, seductive ass stare that damn near made me hit the brakes.
Her lips was parted, her chest movin’ slow, her eyes heavy… she looked like a woman who came out tonight with one thing on her mind.
