Blowing out a long breath, I shook my head. “Feck off. If I’d been there, I would’ve stopped ye from doing something so dog shite stupid.”

He grinned as if I’d just told him I loved him. “Why didn’t Aspen answer? I called him first.”

My heart skipped a beat. “We’ve been busy.”

“But he’s fine?” Fallon’s brow furrowed.

“He’s healthy, aye.”

He frowned and shifted on the bed, giving me a different view of my room behind him. “I would normally never ask this—”

“Then don’t.”

A tiny smirk quirked his lips up in one corner. “Are you okay?”

Clearing my throat, I nodded. “Gotta go. Just keep doing all that shite I told ye to do before I left. Rowen keeping track of ye?”

He nodded.

“Ye better fuck Vail right while I’m gone. Go find him now and bend him over a chair. None of that easy fucking on a bed. Make it nice and rough. Tell him it’s from me.”

Fallon licked his lips and his eyes went huge. “Yeah?” He nearly sounded scared.

“I’ll ask him later if ye did it, so ye better make it good.”

“Yes,” he whispered, and his lips parted in a way that made me wish I was home to shove my cock between them.

“Yes, what?” I demanded.

His face bloomed a brilliant red. I could probably cook an egg on his forehead. “Yes, Master.”

Chuckling, I stifled a yawn. I was exhausted, and with nothing better to do, I went up to my room where I was finally able to take a nap. I woke up with a killer headache around two o’clock in the afternoon and my chest was tight. I’d been curled in a ball as I slept. I straightened out and my muscles didn’t relax.

All I could think about was feckin’ Aspen.

The bastard.

I got out of bed and stomped all the way to his room, then banged on the door.

He answered, and I couldn’t tell a single thing about what he was thinking. He was in a pair of swim trunks, like maybe he was on his way to the pool. The red trunks with white hibiscus flowers on them weren’t his style, but the waistband rode low on his belly and drew my attention to the goods. All at once, it occurred to me that he hadn’t asked me to go swim with him. It didn’t matter that I’d been asleep five minutes ago or we were fighting, I was fecking irked.

“Ye still all wound up about yesterday?” I asked, unable to bring myself to do any of the things I would’ve if I was talking with Vail. Namely, behave. Aspen knew me, the real me, the arsehole I was at my core, and he knew that even if my words were all fancy and nice, I would still be thinking something blunt. Half the reason I liked him was because I didn’t have to pull my punches. I rubbed the back of my neck and it hurt. Feck, maybe I should’ve said something nicer.

“Don’t you have something better to do?” he asked.

My gut clenched. “Can we just forget whatever is stinging yer arse? I was having fun with ye.”

“No.” He crossed his arms.

“So, this is just it?” I asked, slamming my hand to the door to keep it open when he started to close it. He glared at my hand, and I left it right where it was.

“For now, unless you have something better to say.”

I thumped my hand on the door, then took a step back.

He said nothing, only brushed past me and went downstairs, probably out to the water.

“Feck, I wanna go home,” I grumbled under my breath. My chest felt like it was one big ache. I missed Fallon and would love to see his version of what he thought was rough sex. I doubted he did anything mean to Vail, but maybe he’d gotten creative about where he’d fucked him, and that would be worth giving him the instructions, especially if he did it somewhere that would irritate Rowen.
