He pouted at me. “Where are Cillian and Rowen?”
I rested my face in the crook of his neck and nipped the skin there, making him shiver. “Don’t change the subject. Who was it? I’ll spank you.”
“That sounds fun.” He laughed quietly and glanced at Fallon, like he was afraid he’d wake him.
“Another time, trust me.”
He heaved a sigh and stared up at the ceiling for a moment. “Fine. Hans Nolan.”
The fact that Vail remembered the little shitstain’s name without any trouble told me a lot about how much the situation bothered him. Half the time he forgot the names of people he liked. I grunted, pure distaste drawing the sound out of my mouth. “I know his father, a real prick. I’ll deal with it.”
“Aspen—”
“No. You’re ours now, and like I said, Sloan doesn’t deal in disrespect for his employees.” If I hazarded a guess, Sloan would have Hans’s father nearly pissing his pants, and in return, Whit Nolan would be reminding his son about manners. I buried my face against Vail’s neck and breathed him in.
“There’s been too much blood lately.” Vail yawned and kissed my forehead again. “No more. We’ve all been so busy. I want dates. How are you and Fallon getting along?”
“Great.” My stare went back to Fallon and the way his lashes fluttered against his pale skin. He was as beautiful asleep as he was awake. Between him and Vail, I was feeling lucky.
“I was thinking we could combine our date nights. On your night you could choose something for all three of us to do, and his night, he can do the same. For a couple of weeks, at least. I want to see you.”
“See us what?” I teased, tipping my chin to grin at him.
Even with only the light from the other room shining on him like he was an angel, I saw the blush that spread across his cheeks. “You know.”
“Say it,” I purred, running my hand over his chest. “What do you want to see?”
“You together. Not just sexually, although that’s really hot. Or maybe—”
I shushed him with a hard kiss to his mouth, and he groaned. He kept trying to talk even though my lips were sealed on his, and it was hard not to laugh. When I broke the kiss, I shook my head at him and tapped him on the nose. “You are one of a kind.”
“I’ve been told that before.” He gave me a mischievous grin.
“Do you know what I want to see?” I whispered, low and seductive.
“What?” His eyes went wide before I said another word.
“You eating Fallon’s ass.” I raised my eyebrows.
“Oh.” He moaned and closed his eyes, licking his lips like he was imagining doing exactly that. “That sounds fantastic.”
“You’re two of my favorite men.” I reached up to run my hand through his hair, nails scraping over his scalp, and he moaned louder. “Maybe it’smyturn to watch as you fuck each other.”
“Okay,” he quickly agreed in a strangled voice. “But date night first?”
I laughed. “Date night first.”
“Without bombs and guns and bad men kicking you or Fallon.” He said the words so innocently, as though it was everyday life. To us it was, and maybe he was used to it by now.
“Deal.”
Raucous laughter from the other room had me rolling my eyes.
“Seems like Tweedledee and Tweedledum are on their way to bed. By the sounds, they inhaled the whiskey straight.”
Vail laughed just as Cillian jumped into the doorway, arms wide open. “Here’s Daddy.”
“For fuck’s sake,” I muttered as Vail’s laughter doubled.
