“Thank you,” I murmured, finding his chin to grip before laying a kiss on him. “Are you ready to relax?”
“Do I have a choice?” he grumped, and I laughed in response.
“No.”
We said our goodbyes to Gary and headed up the two steps onto the building’s small veranda, and I stopped Darcy before we could walk inside. “You know, I’ve been here about six times, and I don’t know what this place looks like. Tell me. Be my eyes.”
“Okay. It’s a wooden cabin, like the one we’re staying in, but a lot bigger. It has some brown brick walls above the foundation, and the mountains are right behind it, tall and beautiful andgreen. I thought there would be snow, for some reason,” he said on a chuckle. I didn’t hear that sound from him often, and I took a moment to appreciate the natural beauty of it.
“Tell me more,” I whispered, craving to hear his voice and the lack of sharp irritation that usually came with his words. The difference in him was already audible.
“Lots of windows, tall and wide so you can see inside and out. There are plants on both sides of the doors, and they’re green in brown pots.” He touched my arm. “Let’s go inside. I’ll tell you more.”
I couldn’t say no to that. We entered through the doors, and he described how tall and wide they were. The sounds of laughter and excited voices met my ears the moment we walked into the foyer.
“It’s beautiful inside, too,” he murmured breathlessly. “It’s wood and stone, the floor is made of polished wood as well. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a place in the mountains. To the left is the reception desk, the base made of… you guessed it, wood.”
I laughed loudly.
“And the top looks to be stone, maybe granite or marble. It’s a nice contrast of white.” He held me tightly as we made our way over there.
“Good morning, sirs. Welcome to the Astamaya Yoga Retreat. I’m Maisie. You might remember me, Mr. Sutherland.”
I did, and I liked her a lot. She was another one who treated all their guests the same. Smiling, I nodded. “You’re not easy to forget, Maisie. This is Darcy, and we’re here for some yoga and massages, but I believe we have facials first.”
“Facials?” Darcy murmured, his hand on me squeezing.
“Let me check your schedule, sir.” Her shoes tapped on the floor, then a keyboard clacked as she typed.
I’d booked a variety of activities after Saturday with Darcy. One night had shown me a lot of things and making him mine was top priority. That meant getting the works, from start to finish. I had it all booked—manicures and pedicures, exfoliation, different kinds of massages, and even a haircut and styling, if he wanted it. I didn’t back down on giving him everything he needed, and that included mountain tours, too.
“Ah, yes. You are scheduled for the facial first, then a mani-pedi, and then it’s yoga time with a massage afterward.”
“All of that?” Darcy exhaled like he couldn’t quite believe what I’d planned.
“And a nice dinner at the restaurant tonight.” I chuckled and patted him on the arm.
“And no… naked yoga this trip, sir?” Maisie asked carefully.
I didn’t have to see Darcy to know he’d spun in my direction with wide eyes. Holding up my hand at him, I laughed. “Not this time, Maisie. I fear I am a jealous man and cannot share Darcy with everyone else.”
“Of course, sir.” She giggled and clacked on the keyboard again.
“Is this like a secret brothel or something?” Darcy asked, suspicious. “Because I’m not here to scope out the competition.”
“Oh no, sir. We are not a brothel. We offer experiences, not people.” Maisie sounded offended. While I hadn’t personally taken up offers for a little extra, being a VIP guest, I had wondered if the specials they kept mentioning did have something to do withpeople.
Darcy snorted and leaned in closer, his cologne tickling my nose. “Could you imagine if we said that to the police every time they tried to get us? We offerexperiences, not people. You can’t charge us with anything.”
I snorted out a laugh. “I doubt that would work.” Turning back to Maisie, I sent her my most charming smile. “Thank you. The same place as usual for the facials?”
“What kind of facials are we talking about, now that I know the truth?” Darcy whispered, and I couldn’t help but laugh harder.
“None that involve my cum, sweet prince.”
Maisie either didn’t hear us or refused to acknowledge our words. When she gave me the typical directions to the spa rooms, I thanked her. Lemonade led the way, and I gripped the harness tightly as we walked across the smooth wooden flooring and onward to a more private section of the retreat. Lemonade took me through a doorway, and I caught my elbow on it, but to make up for the small pain, the soothing scent of rose and lavender met my nose.
“Are you ready to get relaxed?” I teased Darcy when we took a seat in a very comfortable waiting area with wide leather couches that encompassed my body like one big hug. He sat on the cushion beside mine, and his arm touched me.
