Ryan was slow about physical contact at first, but quickly got over his shyness. He rested his face in the crook of my neck with a happy sigh and let his weight press into me. I loved the softness of his hips, the perfect cushioning of him. We fit together perfectly.
Now if only there wasn't the nuisance of clothes in the way...
Praise to the heavens that Ryan was on the same wavelength as me. Just as I thought that, he lifted his head with a cheeky grin. "Um, Ulysses?"
"Yes, Ryan?"
"I can feel you, uh, poking me."
Now it was my turn to be flustered. "My apologies."
"No, don't be sorry. I actually..." Ryan bit his lip. "I like it."
I smiled. "Ah. Then I retract my apology."
A devilish smirk lit up Ryan's face. He glanced down as he snaked a hand down my firm chest, over my stomach, and paused at my belt. He hooked a finger into it and tugged gently.
"Would you like to make that disappear?" I asked.
"Maybe." Ryan blushed. "I usually don't put out on a first date, you know."
I grinned at the insinuation that this situation was notusually."We can always do this some other time, Ryan. It's entirely up to you. I'm capable of curbing my urges."
"Well, I'm not, okay? It's been a while. And you're so..."
He unbuckled my belt and slowly slid it out. Arousal set my blood on fire.
Ryan never ended up finishing that statement. Instead he lowered himself to his knees right there on the forest floor. As much as I appreciated his enthusiasm, I didn't want him to get dirty. I chuckled and gently lifted him back up.
"Not here, my love," I said. "You are going to get humus in undesirable areas. Like in your bottom."
He looked puzzled. "What hummus?"
"Humus. As in, the decomposition of the forest floor on which we stand."
"Oh." He wrinkled his nose. "Ew."
"Indeed. Let me take you somewhere a little more appropriate." I gestured towards a winding path nearby. It would be hidden to human senses, but my unicorn side could sniff out a lush area anywhere.
I took Ryan's hand and led him through the brush. I could feel his confusion as dark trees surrounded us, but he wasn't afraid. He trusted me.
When we broke through the last bit of darkness, Ryan gasped. "Oh..."
Before us was a small clearing, ringed by the very trees we had just walked through. It was untouched by humans, despite being nestled right in the middle of civilization. Tiny white and pink wildflowers dotted the green grass like glitter, and the air was pleasantly cool. The moon cast its light down, making everything glow.
"I had no idea this place was even here," Ryan murmured.
I smiled, cupping his face in my hands again. "That's the thing about humans. There is magic in front of you all the time. All you need to do is open your eyes and see it."

Ryan
Ulysses really hada way with words. Even when his boner was poking out of his pants and grazing my thigh.
When we were secluded and alone, I kissed him again. I couldn't stop. Each time I kissed him, it made everything feelrealagain. Because this couldn't be, right? Today was just too perfect. I'd wake up tomorrow morning and find out it was just an amazing dream, so I had to enjoy it while I could.
So I pressed my mouth against Ulysses's hungrily, tasting his sweet tongue and smelling his wonderful scent. God, he smelled so good, better than any perfume or cologne. He smelled like an alpha in one of those silly romance books I read from time to time—unrealistic? A little. But still fun. Except Ulyssesactuallysmelled that good.
