I leaned over the edge of the rail. A few narrower sets of stairs led down to the floor below.
“So, what are we looking for again?” I asked Colton, feeling a bit overwhelmed at the sight of all these books.
“Lake Of Four Directions And Surrounding Territories Flora Encyclopedia Volume 3.”
“Fun name,” Ramsay remarked.
“Um, okay,” I said. “Do you know the author?”
Colton paused. “That part I forgot.”
I sighed. “Well, that’s okay. It should be in some kind of recognizable biology or nature section. With all four of us looking, it shouldn’t be too hard.”
Ramsay groaned like he’d just been given a difficult chore. “Nevermind, this isn’t fun anymore.”
“Stop complaining and start looking,” Eric growled at him. He turned to Colton. “How much of this library have you read?”
“Most of the books here,” Colton admitted.
“Then wouldn’t you remember where it is?”
Colton frowned, looking a bit guilty. “Sorry. Too much information makes it all muddied in my head.”
Eric sighed. “It’s okay. Can you at least show us where the nature section is?”
“Uh huh. Right here.”
We followed Colton and began picking through different sections of the massive bookshelf.
While focused hard on perusing through the book spines, I accidentally bumped into Ramsay, who was kneeling down and searching the lower part of the shelf.
“Oops,” I said. “Sorry.”
He glanced up at me with a grin. “Don’t be. I needed a little distraction.”
Before I knew it, he snaked his hand up my leg, holding me just above the knee. I let out a muffled yelp. He chuckled.
“Your face got red real quick,” he said.
“We’re in a library!” I protested, but it was half-hearted. Even just the simple act of him wrapping his arm around my leg made my cock twitch.
“I won’t tell if you won’t,” Ramsay said, winking.
As much fun as it would be to go jerk each other off in the stacks, I wanted to focus on the task at hand. “Later. Okay?”
Ramsay sighed. “Fine. I guess I really am doomed to look for this damn book.”
“You two are ridiculous,” Eric said suddenly from behind us. Both of us scrambled to look innocent.
“We weren’t doing anything!” I cried.
Eric just rolled his eyes. “Can’t keep it in your pants, can you, Ramsay?”
Ramsay shrugged and grinned, not looking too upset he got caught half-fondling me.
Both of us straightened up when Eric held up the book in question. “I found it. Colton, come over here and find what you were looking for.”
Colton’s head popped up and he hurried over. We crowded around a small round table as Colton took the book from Eric and began flipping through it with intense vigor. It was like he was barely looking at the pages.
