I fell on top of his chest, fighting for breath. Eric slowly wrapped his arms around me and began stroking my hair. I smiled. I didn’t think he even realized he was doing it.

“How do you feel?” Eric asked.

“Like I died.”

He chuckled. “I mean in terms of the prophecy.”

I glared at him. “Dude, we just had mind-blowing sex and all you can think about is the stupid prophecy?”

“It’s not stupid,” he chided gently. “But now this means you’ve been intimate with all three of us, right?”

“Yeah.” I buried my face in Eric’s chest, deeply inhaling his scent. “I don’t wanna think about that right now. I just want to cuddle.”

Eric kept stroking my hair. “You know you’re going to have to think about it eventually.”

I lifted my head and scowled. “Keep it up and see if I ever fuck you to an earth-shattering orgasm ever again.”

Eric rolled his eyes but smiled. He gently pushed my head back down to its previous position. “Fine.”

Exhaustion followed my orgasm, as it always did, but this time it was not just physical fatigue, but also mental.

Eric had reminded me of the thing I’d been avoiding. And dreading.

Anything to do with the prophecy that I barely understood.

He was right. I could definitely say now that I had feelings for all three of them--Ramsay, Colton and Eric. But I wasn’t any closer to getting to the bottom of the mystery. I still didn’t know what the hell any of the verses meant.
