“Tonight?” Ioffered.
“Tonight works for me,” he said. He glanced down at his shirt. “As long as you don’t mind that what I’m wearing isn’t exactly first datematerial.”
I already loved that about John - he wasn’t a fussy omega who was afraid to poke fun at himself. I smiled and shook my head. “Of course not. It looks goodtome.”
He smirked. “At least one of usthinksso.”
I grinned and held out a hand. “Should we getgoing?”
Slowly, as if he still wasn’t sure this was really happening, he took my hand. His skin was warm and soft, just as I remembered from when we shook hands yesterday. I helped him up and smiled down at him, unable to contain myexcitement.
John glanced shyly up and down my body before returning to my eyes. “I’m readytogo.”
I twined my fingers with his. “Then let’s go haveadate.”
