“Hey, married-omega-to-be!” Scout said, and they could both hear the grin in his voice. “Have you decided on a date yet?”

“Not yet,” Kyle said. “We still haven’t told Stark’s parents yet. I want to choose a date that they’ll be able to attend.”

Stark felt another pang of surprise. Kyle was so dedicated to making his parents feel included in the entire process when he had just brushed them off. It was like everything Kyle did made Stark fall even more in love with him.

“What about a venue?” Scout asked, as if on the tip of his toes. “Actually, don’t answer, you already have one.”

“Huh?” Kyle asked. “But we haven’t even started looking.”

Scout laughed. “You’re gonna have it at the manor, duh!”

Stark and Kyle’s jaws dropped. “What!?” they cried in unison.

“Scout, no, we can’t impose like that!” Kyle said, waving his hands even though he couldn’t see. “We’ll find our own place, it’s okay, and besides, what about Kendra? And - “

“Nope,” Scout said simply. “It’s decided. Right, Killian?”

“Absolutely,” Killian said. “And I don’t wanna hear a peep out of you, Kyle.”

Kyle, whose mouth was open and ready to object, closed it.

“Just let us know a date so we can prepare,” Scout said, his voice brimming with excitement. “Besides, Kendra will be there too. She can’t miss out on her uncle’s wedding, can she?”

Stark chuckled. “I guess not.”

“Then it’s settled!” They heard Scout clap his hands together. “Oh my god, I’m so excited. We have so many preparations to do - okay, I’m gonna go start on those, and…”

Scout’s voice trailed off as he hurried away from the phone. Killian sighed. “I think he might be more excited about this than you two are,” he said with a low chuckle.

“I think the excitement just hasn’t set in yet,” Stark replied. “It still doesn’t feel real. Hell, even the fact that we’rehaving a babydoesn’t feel real.”

“I know exactly what you’re going through,” Killian said. “I think it’s the same for every first time parent.”

“That makes me feel better,” Kyle said, sighing.

“You guys go enjoy the rest of your day,” Killian suggested. “I have a feeling Scout’s gonna be busy organizing everything for you, anyway.”

“Alright. See you guys later,” Stark said before hanging up.

“Now there’s only one thing left to do,” Kyle said.

Stark sighed dramatically. “Do Ihaveto?”

Kyle crossed his arms with a smirk. “Call your parents.”
