“Perhaps delivery?” I suggest, and she laughs and nods.
Her hair is all over the place and I can’t help but to find her absolutely perfect at this moment.
I place the order on my phone, keeping Mack and Jonah in mind, and come to stand between her legs where she sits on the stool.
I do my best to pet down the mess that’s her hair as she grabs my waist.
“Can you believe we ended up here?” I ask her.
“No. Who would’ve thought the pilot from my flight would help me during my heat and I’d fall in love with him and his super hot pack?”
“You forgot rich,” I say with a smirk, feeling like Jonah.
“That part didn’t hurt.”
“Neither did how unreal your scent was, or how beautiful you are.”
“No more flattery. I’m hungry, and I’m not sure my body can take another knot.”
“I’m almost positive you could take it,” I say and she rolls her eyes at me.
Suddenly a groggy Jonah and Mack make their way into the kitchen, both of them looking like they need a few more hours of sleep and a good meal.
They both kiss Shiloh and take a seat.
“So, heats over?” Mack says and Shiloh smiles.
“It was shorter than last time,” Jonah states.
“I think it had something to do with being bonded and feeling so cared for. It was perfect. Thank you.”
“You never need to thank us for taking care of you during your heat. It’s an honor, and I very much enjoyed myself,” Jonah says.
“Well, give it another three to four months and we’ll do it all over again,” Shiloh says.
“Did you order food?” Mack asks, his arms crossed on the counter where he rests his head. Shiloh’s rubbing his back.
“Yes, it should be here shortly.”
“Thank fuck. I think I’m dehydrated,” Mack says.
I grab him a glass of water, and while I’m at it, get one for everyone else. Mack basically inhales the entire thing, and I’m immediately refilling the cup.
“I think we should get IVs or some shit before heats,” Mack groans, and Shiloh keeps petting and doting on him.
“My poor baby,” Shiloh says, planting a kiss on his head.
Jonah coughs. “Uh. I don’t feel so good either.”
“Oh, you stop it,” she says, and I laugh at his antics.
He’s definitely the one I had to contend with the most to get alone time with Shiloh during her heat. I will admit that it was a blessing. While there were moments when she needed all of us, having that individual time helped each of us get some rest when needed.
I guess his spoiled child syndrome comes in handy sometimes.
Shiloh sips her water and clears her throat.
“Any news about Danny?” she says.
