We tell her the truth.
Puck Around and Find Out
By Cassie Escobar
I was fortunate enough to get an exclusive interview with none other than Pack Nilsen. That’s right, you heard it here first. The alleged pack that has taken the media by storm has an official pack name, not to mention they are registered with the state and Bram Nilsen and Max Connery will be signing on with the Foxes next year under a pack contract.
I’m not here to discuss pack contracts or what the consensus is for a decision. What I wanted to do when meeting this pack is find out what’s real and what’s sensationalized in the media.
When did your relationship start?
Sloane: They each started at separate times. I had a crush on Bram far longer than I’d like to admit, but we became serious at the beginning of the season. Ethan is one of those people you immediately fall for, and I did. As for Max, that’s a combination of friends to lovers and a case of being scent matches.
How does your father feel about the relationship?
Sloane: He is incredibly supportive.
Bram: Unless he’s giving us extra drills.
Are the rumors about the pregnancy true?
Max: They are very much true, and we are extremely excited to welcome our son this coming fall.
Ethan: Unbelievably excited.
Bram: We’re very blessed to have Sloane as the mother of our child.
Will you be getting a paternity test?
Sloane: Absolutely not.
There have been a lot of rumors circulating after your car accident. Is there anything you would like to set straight?
Bram: I was driving the vehicle, and it was indeed a complete freak accident. I’m so thankful that Ethan was able to get Sloane out so swiftly, and I owe my life to Max.
You two have had a tumultuous relationship in the past. Is that all resolved?
Max: More than resolved. We’re different men; we’re better men.
Speaking of which, prior to these rumors, your image was less than stellar. What do you say to people who think you haven’t changed?
Max: I owe a lot of that to Ethan and Sloane. When I was traded to the Foxes, I knew I needed to stop filling that void with fleeting relationships. I found my people, and I’m never looking back.
Is it true you are suingPack Weeklyfor their distasteful article about you and your pack?
Sloane: They (expletive) around and found out.
After sitting down with Pack Nilsen, one thing has become abundantly clear. Don’t always believe what you read. And facts are always more important than fiction.
CHAPTER 48
“It’s fucking Vermont. It shouldn’t be this hot,” Sloane says as she all but waddles to the couch.
Pack Hodges let us use their cabin for the week, and while the idea had merit, Sloane is a bit too far in her pregnancy to enjoy much of anything.
I sit at her feet and rub her ankles.
“You’re an angel, thank you.”
