Aiden: I want to make you feel good again.
When?
Aiden: Tonight, my place?
I want to make you feel good too, Daddy.
Suddenly the door opens, and Tabitha gives me a slight smirk before walking back to her desk.
“Jessa, can I see you for a minute?” Aiden asks, and I nod my head before following him into his office. He shuts the door behind us, and his arms are immediately wrapped around my waist when he pulls my body against his chest. “Are you trying to drive me fucking crazy at work?”
“Is it working?” He grinds his hard cock against my ass, and I hum in approval. “It is working then.”
“I wanted to tell Tabitha to leave my office before she even sat down, but then you just had to make it a little more interesting.”
I spin in his arms, grabbing a fistful of his shirt and bringing him down for a playful kiss.
“So, tonight?”
“Let me take you on a proper date and we can go back to my place.”
I smile and nod my head. “I’d like that.”
“Good, I want my girl to have everything she wants.” He leans down and kisses me again. “Now, go do your job or else I’ll have to take it out on your ass later.”
I swallow and blink at Aiden. How he can be so sweet one moment, and then just the right amount of domineering the next, it does it for me.
“I hope so,” I say, kissing his rough cheek one more time before leaving his office and sitting back down at my desk.
I’ve barely caught my breath when Penny comes bouncing by my desk. “Hey, got some time to grab lunch?” Her voice isn’t as peppy as usual, and I wonder what’s going on with her.
“Sure,” I say with a smile, grabbing my purse and following Penny outside. She’s quiet as we walk to the food truck. I notice that while still beautiful, she looks tired, and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen her anything less than perky and upbeat. “Penny, are you okay?”
She blinks at me, and I watch in mortification as she starts to cry. I drag her out of the food truck line and sit at one of the wooden picnic tables with her. I place a gentle hand on her back and she tries to breathe normally. “This is so fucking stupid, I can’t believe I’m just breaking down like this.” She wipes her eyes and is slowly calming herself as I rub small circles on her back.
“We can talk about it if you want, or if you just want to sit here. Whatever you need.” She gives me a watery smile and wipes the rest of the tears off her eyes, trying to protect her mascara.
“Have you ever loved someone you couldn’t have?”
I shake my head and just keep rubbing her back, trying to bring her any comfort that I possibly can. Whatever she wants to trust me with is up to her.
“Why can’t you be with them?” I ask curiously. She’s never mentioned being interested in anyone when we go to lunch or happy hour.
She scoffs. “Because it’s so stupidly complicated I can’t even get into it.”
“But you both want to be together?” I ask, and she nods her head. “Then I’m sure you can figure out a way to make it work.”
Penny starts crying again, and I rub her back. It takes her a few minutes to calm down again, and I can’t help but to wrap my arms around her and squeeze her into a comforting hug. Penny and I haven’t been particularly affectionate with each other, but it’s clear she needs it right now. Her body relaxes against mine and she breathes evenly.
“I’m so sorry for ruining lunch.”
“Hey, you didn’t ruin anything,” I say, pulling back and rubbing her arms. “Do you want to go home early? I’ll cover for you at the office.”
“Really?” she says with a smile that doesn’t meet her eyes.
“Of course, what are girlfriends for?”
She leans forward and hugs me, sniffling lightly. “Thanks, Jessa.” I hug her back as she clears her throat. She skips lunch, and I guess I am too as she walks to her car and leaves for the day.
