“Yours,” I promise back as he grabs my waist hard and starts really fucking me.
“Give it to me, baby,” he says, and I gasp. An obscene amount of slick comes out of me as I reach my orgasm. I hold eye contact with Smith as I shatter on top of him. Shaking.
He slowly removes his hand from my pussy, making me whimper at the loss of him. He reverently brings his fingers to his lips and sucks my release from them. Smith groans from the taste.
He leans his forehead against mine as he exhales heavily. “I need to get the fuck out of here.”
’“I’m working on it,” I promise, kissing him tenderly on the forehead. “I’m going to be a mess leaving here.”
He growls. “Who brought you here?”
“Dom and Kelsey. Dom’s kind of taken over your job until you’re out.”
“Now I owe him even more.”
“Why do you owe him?” I say.
“For looking out for Kelsey when I took this job.”
“I think he’s doing more than looking,” I joke, and he tilts his head and groans. “Would you be mad?”
“No, Meera was horrible. Dom would never treat her like that. He already has an Omega, though.” He arches an eyebrow and tilts his head.
“To be honest, your sister’s love life seems complicated as hell.” Smith groans and moves me closer to cuddle.
“I’m just glad you have support,” he says.
“My mom flew up and Liv and her pack have been great, too. I don’t want you to worry about me being taken care of. I just need you to focus on being a good boy and getting out of here. Once they post bail, you will be out.”
“Did they say how long it would be?”
“No, but we are doing everything we can. Just promise me that you won’t doubt this—us—again.”
“I promise. Cami, I saw red. I was so fucking tired and hearing the way he spoke about you and knowing that he was behind all of this. I just snapped.”
“I hit Franklin,” I whisper.
He sputters and looks at me. “You did what?”
“Same thing, I just snapped. He tried apologizing to me, and I just couldn’t stand to look at him. I’ve asked him repeatedly to tell me if he needed money for his son, and he’s always told me that everything was okay. I trusted Franklin almost as much as I trust you. I still don’t understand how he could do this.”
“What did he say to the police?”
“That he walked in on a phone conversation where Garth was discussing the photos with a news outlet. Garth bribed him to be quiet, and he agreed. He said he didn’t know about the video threat and that guilt had consumed him over it.”
“I thought he was giving you sad looks a lot lately,” Smith says.
“I know. I thought he was struggling with his son. I’ve sent money to his son, Thomas, while his dad deals with his charges.”
“I’m sorry, baby.” He kisses the side of my face.
“At least it’s over with. Once we get you out of here, we can finally start our lives, Smith. That’s all I want.”
“Me too.” He squeezes me close as the door buzzes.
“Times up,′ the officer says. Smith groans and I kiss him one more time before I stand up. I attempt to look somewhat put together as I leave the visitation room.
“I’ll call as soon as I get phone privileges,” Smith says, kissing me one more time, and I smile weakly, trying not to cry over the fact that I’ll be leaving him here. “I’ll be all right,” he promises me, and I nod my head.
