Though…him having sex with Harlow after everything was also possibly a new low…Way to be a chaotic fucking mess, Foxx, he thought with irritation.

Harlow turned the shower on and moved back to him. He was silent and cooperative as the human removed the rest of Foxx’s mostly destroyed clothing, besides the tracking bracelet, before stripping down himself and tugging Foxx into the shower with him.

Foxx relaxed, still quiet and thinking over everything that had been said, while the water and the human’s hands ran over his body.

No matter how much things went around in his head, Foxx kept drawing a blank. Like it didn’t make sense to him.

Licking his lips, he forced himself to ask, “You really aren’t mad?”

Harlow’s hands on him froze for a second, and then he sighed, the man’s arms coming around Foxx. “I’m not mad at you for saying no. I’m not mad at you at all. You have every right to say no. And I have no right to get mad about something like that.”

“Others have.”

“Well, they aren’t me, and they fucking suck.”

“They're dead anyway.”

“Good.”

Foxx chuckled softly. “You are so…different.”

“Good of you to notice,” Harlow said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. The man pressed his face into his neck.

“Different and annoying,” Foxx huffed.

He felt Harlow smile against his neck, before he felt the soft press of his lips in the same spot.

Harlow really was different… “What if I said no more sex?”

“I wouldn’t force you.”

“What if I kicked you out?”

“It’s your house.”

“Why…” he hesitated slightly before pressing on. “Why are you being so agreeable?”

“Foxx, you are asking me questions about things I don’t have any control over, or even have a say on.”

“If you know that then why do you want to kill Iggy?”

“Because he is trying to touch something that is mine.”

Foxx frowned. “I get to decide all those other things, but you can decide that I’m yours?”

“Yes.”

“Crazy.”

“I am.”

Foxx snorted.

“But so are you, Foxx.”

Despite the doubt and the annoyance, he smiled at that. “Am I?”

“Mm, our crazy fits together.” Harlow pressed another kiss to his neck. “Which is why you should date me.”
