My body jerked to look at David, his body shaking as he tried his hardest not to laugh. “Sorry… that was rude. I swear you two must be meant for each other.” He looked at Daniel, and the two seemed to be having some unspoken conversation before Daniel finally nodded and groaned.
David looked back at me with a burning determination in his eyes that had me instinctively stepping back until he crooked his finger and smiled.
“Would you like to know a secret?”
I nodded nervously, my thumb crept to my mouth as he pulled me to his side, so I faced Daniel as he whispered in my ear.
“I painted a dragon set that was supposed to be here… but just like a dragon-” He pointed at Daniel. “This, Daddy just had to add it to his hoard of toys for his future little.”
His words made me gasp, my eyes widening in shock as I stared at Daniel. I couldn’t have heard that right, did I? Did I find my perfect Daddy out in the wild? No way was I that lucky.
“I- What? You-” David moved out of the way as the silver-haired Daddy came forward and cupped my cheek. I instinctively melted into his touch.
“Would you like to go get dinner with me tomorrow, Tristan?”
My heart raced with excitement. This sexy bear of a man was asking me on a date. My voice was shaky with nerves, but I was so damn happy I started rocking back and forth on my heels as I whispered.

Ellery’s eyes widened as they studied my screen.

Excitement coursed through me like a tidal wave, making my body buzz as I started rocking back and forth.
