I continued to rub his palm, loving the way his soft skin felt against my much rougher skin.
“That’s perfectly okay, there’s nothing wrong with going at your own pace. I’d be lying if I said that didn’t make me a little giddy. It means we get to experience so many new things together.”
His gorgeous eyes looked at mine with an intensity that made my heart stutter in my chest.
“Have you not had a boy before?”
“Technically, I have, but they were brief and never went past a few play dates. I’ve never been the type to be a hook-up Daddy. There aren’t many boys who are looking to settle down or have a Daddy outside of play, but being a Daddy is not something I can turn off. My urge to care for my boy is constant, and that can be overwhelming for some people.”
He nodded in understanding and gave my hand a few more of those soft squeezes I was quickly becoming addicted to.
“That sounds nice… I may be responsible and own my own business, but I know I’ll want the presence of a Daddy even when I’m not little. Life is so uncertain at times that I crave the security of knowing the person I call Daddy will keep me safe, always.”
I let go of his hand and cupped his face. “If you give me the honor of being your Daddy, I promise you will always be safe and cared for.”
He let out a dreamy sigh as he nuzzled into my palm. “I’d love that. But first, we should probably have a playdate to make sure we’re going to fit.”
“Of course, sweetheart. I would love that… we could meet up on Saturday and have a full Little and Daddy day. Would you prefer your place or mine?”
“That sounds great! Your place would probably be better for privacy, since Ellery and I work from our apartment, so there’s not a lot of time when we’ll be able to be alone. Plus… um- David said that you have… dragon blocks.” his voice trailed off into a whisper.
“You’re right, sweet boy, I do, and I would love for you to come over and play with them. Now that we’ve got that settled, you need to finish your pizza before it gets too cold.”
We spent the rest of our meal in comfortable silence. I managed to keep myself in check when he finished his pizza and took his time licking every single finger clean; his soft pink tongue poking out was going to drive me insane.
“Mmm, that was so good! Thank you.”
I grabbed a napkin off the table and wiped the grease off his face. My body tensed, worried I had overstepped, but the blinding smile I received made any doubt disappear.
“It was very yummy. I’m glad you enjoyed it.”
We exited the booth, and I held my hand out for his. Warmth bloomed through my body as he intertwined our fingers andwaited for me to lead the way. I climbed into the truck after I got Tristan buckled in, with Ember securely placed in his lap.
The closer we got to his apartment, the more deflated he seemed. When we pulled into the lot, he was slouched over, his soft curls spilling over his face, making him look so fucking adorable. I just wanted to scoop him up and hug him.
“Hey, sweetheart, Everything okay?”
My heart nearly broke when he looked up at me with big watery eyes and the most kissable pout I’ve ever seen.
“I’m sorry, I’m having such an amazing time, I just… I don’t want it to end.” I reached over, threading my fingers through his soft locks, my nails lightly scratching his scalp.
“Oh, sweetheart, I don’t want it to end either. How would you feel about me coming in and helping you get ready for bed? It is getting pretty late, and you’ve had a busy day.”
He instantly perked up, and a huge smile that nearly blinded me appeared on his gorgeous face.
“Please. I want that so much!”

Tristan
My whole body buzzed with anticipation as we walked hand in hand to my apartment door. I let us inside, quickly checking to see where Ellery was. Their door was shut, so they must’ve already gone to bed.
“Looks like they’ve already gone to bed. The fair yesterday had us both exhausted, so I’m not surprised.”
Daniel looked at me with curiosity. “They?”
Worry wormed its way into my chest. You’d think everyone in the lifestyle and queer community would be accepting of nonbinary and trans people, but that wasn’t always the case. I looked into his eyes and only saw genuine curiosity, so I told him. “Ellery is non-binary and uses They/Them pronouns.”
