“Nikko!” he begs, his head falling back to my shoulder. I slide my hand down the front of his body and work his cock hard and fast, loving the feel of his silken steel running through my fist as I claim his perfect body. He’s so fucking tight and hot, gripping me like a glove, and my pleasure is already growing to unstable heights.

The door bangs loudly, and Zia startles, but I don’t stop. I tug him away, carrying him across the room and bending him over the couch. He grips the cushions as he falls forward and widens his legs, allowing me to thrust deeper. Leaning over him, I nip his perfect skin, leaving my marks all over the creamy perfection as the banging on the door continues.

“Damn it, boy,” my dad shouts, but we both ignore him. “Get your ass back in that ring. Zia, tell him.”

“Yeah, tell me,” I tease as I bite his ear until he hisses. “Want me to pull out and go back?”

“Don’t you fucking dare,” he hisses as he grips the cushions and pushes back, then he raises his voice. “We’re busy. He’ll be down in five—” He groans. “Make it ten.”

“Good boy,” I praise before straightening. I slide one of my hands up his back and grip his throat, pinning him as I dive into his body. I don’t know if my dad walks away, but I don’t care. I lose myself in Zia until neither of us can take any more. I bury myself as deep as I can just as my release rips through me. Yelling his name, I pump my cum inside him as he jerks below me, crying out as he finds his own release.

Shivering, I let the pleasure roll through me as I bask in the afterglow. As I take in his red, marked back, possessive glee fills me.

I finally smile. “Now when we go back down, they’ll know you are off-limits.”

“They knew anyway.” He laughs breathlessly. “They just like to wind you up since they never could before.”

“That’s because I never cared about losing anything before you,” I murmur as I kiss his neck.

“Softie,” he teases as he turns his head and kisses me as I roll my hips.

“Need me to remind you I’m not soft at all?” I mutter into his mouth.

“Shit, I should have told your dad thirty minutes,” he whines.

FORTY-EIGHT

Ican’t believe how quickly Nikko’s fight has come around. It seems like he was only challenged yesterday. He’s been working so hard, and I know he’s ready, but I’m worried about the attacks stopping. Do they know that I know who is behind it? They have to. They haven’t made a move since, and I have my guards on them at all times. It hurts, since I thought we were at the very least friendly. It hurts even more that I can’t tell anyone who it is, since I don’t technically have proof. All I can do is wait, and it’s driving me crazy. I feel like I’m not doing anything.

Add that to my nervousness for my boy winning this fight and I’m ready to explode. I have faith he will win, but I also know how important this is for him.

The match itself is being held in Pine Valley, which surprised me. It’s at one of the bigger venues, and apparently it sold out ages ago. Luckily for me, I have boyfriend perks. Julies and his posse are watching in a box, but I stay ringside, wanting to be close. I was even given a Nexus shirt to wear, but you bet your ass I wasn’t wearing that generic fucking thing. Instead, I have Nikko’s name on a necklace around my neck.

I’ll head to the box with the others once Nikko is in the ring, but for now, I watch the crowd filtering in and lean into Trent, one of the boxers. “It’s going to be busy, isn’t it?”

“You bet. This is one of the most anticipated fights of the year. The ticket resells are the highest they have ever been, so are the bets they are taking.” He sneers. “You can head back to the locker room if you want. I’m sure Nikko is waiting.”

I wink at him and head down the tunnel. I came later than Nikko and his team, knowing they needed to warm up and get settled and I had something to do, but I want him to know I’m here, always in his corner, cheering for him.

The corridors in the back are filled with signed gloves and prints of previous fights. It’s impressive as hell, and I nod at Charlie, who is leaning against a doorframe at the end. “His dad is giving him a pep talk, which is more like an ass whopping because he was more worried about where you were than the fight. Go save him.” He opens the door, and I slip inside.

Nikko’s dad is glaring at him, ranting as he stares him down, all while Nikko frowns at his phone. The scene is so fucking cute, I can’t help but watch. “I mean it. This is—boy, if you don’t put that phone down?—”

“Waiting for me?” I interrupt before his dad has an aneurysm.

Nikko’s head snaps up, his smile blooming on his face. “Baby, I wondered where you were.”

Chuckling, I walk over and step between his parted thighs. He’s already in his shorts with his silk Nexus robe on, and he looks really good. “Sorry I’m a little late, but you know I wouldn’t miss this for the world.”

“Talk some sense into him, Zia,” his dad grouses.

“Are you ignoring your coach again?” I tease as Nikko pulls me close and rests his head on my shoulder.

“No. I was just waiting for you and he wouldn’t shut up,” he grumbles.

“Boy, I will kick your ass. This is important?—”

“I know, I know.” Nikko sighs. “We’ve been over it a million times. Stop stressing, Dad.”
