Mia: Same as what Harper said
Bella: Yes, fine - just want to tell you all together and not sure when we’ll see each other next
Ifacetime Harper and quickly add in Mia and Ava, their gorgeous smiling faces appear on my phone.
After waking this morning again with Reed wrapped around me and my heart beating wildly in my chest for the man, I knew I had to call the girls and update them. We tell each other everything, and this news, they’ll want to know. In fact, they’ll be annoyed it’s taken me nearly thirty-six hours to tell them.
“What’s wrong? You look different,” Mia pipes up immediately.
“I don’t think losing your virginity makes you look any different.” I let that sit there for a moment, waiting for my words to register.
Harper disappears from view, her screen going blank and muffled cursing comes through my speaker.
“What the fuck?!”
“AHHHHHHH!”
Harper reappears on screen. “Fuck off!”
I can’t help but giggle at them, I knew this was going to be like dropping a bomb into our group.
“Reed? Please, tell me it was with Reed?!” Harper is still shouting, her face a mixture of shock and joy.
I bite my lip and nod, which of course is followed by more screaming from my girls.
“Will you guys shut up, the office door is closed, but you’re making enough noise for it to carry out to the rest of the floor, and I don’t need anyone walking in right now.” They quieten down and look at me expectantly, each of them waiting for me to tell them everything. Which I do. Every dirty detail.
“He came without moving?” Mia gasps, her mouth agape. Out of everything I’ve told her, that’s what she picked up on.
“That’s not normal, right?” I question. I’d thought at the time that it was something special.
“No! But, shit, it’s hot and so fucking sweet. I can’t believe he did that for you — that he had that much control!” Ava is swooning on the screen. I just roll my eyes at her antics.
“You’ve fallen for him, haven’t you?” Harper questions. “Not in the way we’ve always joked about, but actually fallen in love with him.” Harper and I have always had a bond, all of us do, but she and I have always been able to read each other better than the others.
“I think so, yeah,” I whisper.
“Oh, sweetheart,” she murmurs. “I know so.”
“What do I do?”
“You go with it,” Mia says. “You enjoy yourself. You don’t think about your parents, you don’t think about anything but what you want, and you hope that somewhere along the way he falls for you too.”
“What if he doesn’t?” I whimper. I’m scared out of my mind that I’m going to get my heart broken.
“You come to us. You come to us and we look after you,” Ava whispers back to me, and they all nod.
“No matter what happens, we’ve got you. We’ll always have you,” Harper murmurs, and I know without a doubt in my mind that they do. They’d do anything for me. We’d do anything for each other.

Reed
No gag reflex.
She has no fucking gag reflex.
I’m sitting in a meeting, staring at the woman who is fast becoming my obsession, and I can’t concentrate on anything other than the way she deep-throated me last night.
