Silas prowls over to me, a hungry gleam in his eyes, and I let out a small squeak, ready to run back upstairs and hide under my blankets. Before I can do exactly that, he grabs me around my waist and buries his face in the crook of my neck, groaning. "Fuck, Ness, you smell absolutely divine. Your scent is going to drive me crazy."
"S-sorry! When I went for a shower this morning, my things were missing, so I used some of yours. If you tell me where they are, I can put on some scent-blocking deodorant," I babble, my nerves getting the better of me.
"I threw them away," Zayne says, coming over to stand behind me, running his nose up and down my neck on the opposite side of where Silas still has his head buried. "No more hiding your scent from us."
"Yes, sir," I whisper, and I feel Zayne stiffen behind me.Does he like me calling him sir?I breathe in their scents, enjoy their warmth, and allow them to hold me. It's fine because they initiated it, so I was allowed to enjoy it.
"How am I supposed to eat Mom's homemade apple pie again without getting a boner?" Mason asks, and my eyes drop to the obvious bugle underneath his gray sweatpants. He pulls me into his arms, and I let out a small whine when he presses his groin area against my stomach. He picks me up and carries me over to the kitchen table, where he sits down with me in his lap.
"What are you doing?" I squeak out, trying to get off his lap, but his hold is firm. "I'm going to crush you, Mason!"
"Are you calling me weak, little one?" He growls, but there is no real heat in his words. "You've been avoiding us, and it stops now. Did you even eat last night?"
My stomach growls in response, and Silas jumps into action. "I'll grab you a plate."
I watch Silas move around the kitchen and barely contain a dreamy sigh. He's so handsome. All three of them are.
Mason's arm tightens around my waist, holding me against him, and he presses soft kisses up and down my neck. "You smell so fucking good. Tastes just as good, too, from what I hear." I tense up on his lap, and he smiles against my neck. "These two love to gossip."
I drop my gaze, looking down at my lap and frown. They all know I kissed two of them. They must think I'm a skank.
Silas drops the plate in front of me and tilts my head up, and I squeeze my eyes shut. He just stands there waiting for me to open them, and when I finally do, he is smiling at me. "We don't keep secrets anymore."
"Silas' right. We're closer than ever." Mason strokes the side of my neck with his nose, breathing me in. "Wanna come exploring with us?"
I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. "Uh."
Zayne taps the plate in front of me. "Eat, Vanessa. No more skipping meals."
"We're heading up to the northernmost part of the lake, then back," Mason says, picking up the fork on my plate and stabbing a piece of sausage before bringing it up to my mouth. "It's a bit of a hike, but it'll be fun."
I open my mouth, and he feeds me the sausage while they're all looking at me. Zayne nods at me in approval. Blushing, I shake my head. "I'm going to stay here and write. I've got a good flow going."
"Can we read it when you're done?" Silas asks with a grin, and I start choking on the piece of meat.
All three of them surround me, rubbing my back and stroking my hair. What the actual fuck is even happening right now?It was insane. I couldn't eat and focus with them here, looking so good and smelling like my wildest dreams. "Never."
Silas pouts at me. "What? Why? I've spent years trying to find your work online, and I thought having you here would make it easier."
A wide smile takes over my face. "You tried to find my books?"
Zayne lets out a deep chuckle, and I stare at him with wide eyes. The sound seems so foreign to him, but sounds so right. It sends a pleasant wave of awareness coursing through me. "He even begged me to use my connections to find out, but I refused. You can show us when you're ready."
"Which would be never," I mutter, but I love that he respected my privacy enough to not snoop. "Who says I'm even published?"
"According to your mother, you've been published several times," Silas says with a smirk, and I send a silent curse her way.
"I haven't been snooping, baby. I'm just a dumb athlete who goes along with these two. Am I your favorite?" Mason whispers in my ear, and I become very aware that I'm still sitting on his lap.
I nod and take a bite of the best eggs I've ever had. Letting out a little moan, I say, "These eggs are delicious."
Mason whoops. "I'm definitely the favorite."
Silas boops my nose. "No favorites, Ness. We just want to know what's going on in your life. We're so proud of you."
"You guys seem to know a lot already."
"We don't know enough," Mason says as he rests his chin on my shoulder, and I catch the puppy dog eyes he's giving me. "At least tell us what you write about."
