He laughs in joy. “You didn’t have to, I just thought?ahh…” His words are cut off by two of my appendages wrapping around that hard cock.

“Don’t think about anything,” I purr against his chest. I jerk him off as the rest of my limbs caress him all over. His sighs of delight and the rolling of his eyes are heavenly. I stroke faster, kiss his nipples, and touch his tongue with one tentacle, all maneuvers to grant him that ultimate pleasure.

“Fuck…fuck, Reed…fuck!” His mumbles grow louder while my tentacles dig deeper into his mouth. Seconds later, he returns fire, shooting all over me. I don’t stop stroking for several seconds, opting to slow down the pace and squeezing until every last drop comes out.

His pleasure-filled rasps of unintelligible words are music to my ears.

“How was that?” I ask, luxuriating next to him on the mattress.

“Amazing,” he replies with his eyes still closed. “I love having a kraken boyfriend.”

“And I love you.” I lean over and kiss him slowly, morning breath be damned. “But we don’t want to be late.”

“No, we don’t.” We share a chuckle and proceed to get dressed. We have plenty of time for lazy morning aftercare when we get back to Mareflow. Today, the sights await us.

“And how are you with homework?” I ask, staring at my phone. I’m leaning on the edge of the boat, waiting for us to leave the port. Several other families and couples, some monsters but mostly humans, are gathered at other parts of the boat. Part of the tour is whale-watching, and we’re certainly not going to see any on dry land in Alaska.

“I’m good,” Aisen replies via video chat. “Mr. Castillo is helping me. You don’t need to worry, you should be having fun with Mr. Dillinger.”

“I told you Karlo was smart,” Skyler remarks. He’s preparing his camera next to me, just off-screen from my video chat.

“Hi, Mr. Dillinger,” Aisen says.

“Hey, Eyes-and-ears,” my boyfriend says.

“I didn’t think Karlo wouldn’t be smart,” I say. “I just know that final exams are a big deal. I could have stayed and helped you.”

“And miss your Alaska trip? That’s so lame,” Aisen says. “This was the only time both of you had vacation time during a registered tour. I couldn’t let you miss it because of me. You two deserve to have your own fun. Adult fun.”

“We sure are,” Skyler murmurs, and I try not to grin. My nephew isn’t wrong; it took a lot of coordination to get Skyler and me here without the hospital collapsing in my absence. Karlo and Razorjaw have become trusted friends, so having them stay the week at our house was the best solution.

“Are you being nice and welcoming to Mr. Castillo and Mr. Shaughnessy?”

“Yes.” He has the exasperated tone only a fifteen-year-old could carry. “RJ and I went swimming the other day, and he showed me all the fish he eats. Watching him rip them apart was sick.”

“Don’t go getting any ideas now,” I say. We all laugh, and the sound of a boat horn fills my ears. “Ooh, we’re leaving the port.”

“Bye, Uncle Reed. Bye, Mr. Dillinger. I love you, have a safe trip.”

I choke on air for a moment, then nod. He never says ‘I love you’ unprompted. “I love you too, Aisen.”

“Bye, kiddo,” Skyler says. After I hang up, my boyfriend hugs me as the boat makes its way further into the ocean.

Minutes later, we’re listening to the tour guide as he points out where whales are often spotted. I lean on the edge of the boat as Skyler cuddles up next to me. The tour guide’s voice is drowned out by the sound of waves crashing against the boat on this cloudy day.

“He’s gonna be a grown-up before you know it,” Skyler says.

“Way too soon,” I say, gazing out at the ocean.

“But he’ll always need you. He loves you.”

I gaze at Skyler’s precious blue eyes through his glasses. Without overthinking it, I lean forward and kiss him slowly. When I pull back, he’s beaming at me. “Is he the only one?”

Skyler snickers. “Obviously, lots of people love you. Like at the hospital. And probably the mailman.” I poke his torso and he giggles. “Okay, fine, I love you. You know that.”

We calm down, and I say, “I hope you know I love you more. And I have no intention of letting you go.”

His face grows serious, so I continue, “You’re kind of the best thing to ever happen to me. I know it’s early, but I don’t want to continue on this wild journey of life without you, Skyler.”
