He relaxed. Those were like magic words. “Okay.” He’d trust that Jacob would tell him what James needed to do.
Jacob helped him settle into the corner of the large plush dark gray couch. The same color as the carpet. Actually, looking around, James found that the entire room was done in three different shades of gray. The color was soothing.
And the room was homey. Had a coziness that James hadn’t expected. There were two tall bookcases that book-ended the huge screen mounted to the wall. There were also a ton of blankets and pillows. Like, more blankets than James had ever seen. On chairs, the end of the couch, the back of the couch. Even a stack on the floor.
Kneeling in front of him, Jacob reached for James’s feet and removed his black boots and thick socks. James stared down athis professor. He knew almost nothing about Jacob. Like the man’s obsession with blankets.
Jacob set his shoes and socks off to the side before he rose to grab the colorful blanket folded on the back of the couch. Jacob placed the blanket over his lap and James pulled it up to his shoulders. Oh, soft!
“I’m going to get you some sweatpants to lounge in. They’ll be more comfortable than those jeans.”
James nodded.
“I’ll be right back,” Jacob vowed.
As Jacob left the room, James pulled the blanket to his nose. While he might not smell bad, the soft blanket’s scent was comforting. Jacob must use a much more expensive product than they did. It would make sense and James wondered how he could fix it where he might get a load of laundry done. Laundry was a Daddy thing, wasn’t it? It might be worth playing at being a little to get his laundry done.
Not that James considered regression a game or anything. No, he was taking the conversations with Jacob seriously. He still wasn’t convinced that he was little. The more research he did, the deeper he went, James saw that there really was more than one way to explore age regression.
If James went ahead with exploring with Jacob, then he already knew that he would regress older than Michael. He wasn’t the only little that wasn’t interested in abdl. Although James did understand how that would help a boy get into the right headspace. There were other options as well. Training pants or even thick cotton underwear. James was leaving those decisions for later.
Technically he hadn’t shared with Jacob how close he was to asking for help exploring. Except, he kind of had. That night. While sitting on his bike. He’d asked Jacob to take care of him.
“Are you still doing okay?” Jacob asked as he returned.
James looked up. Jacob had been dressing much more relaxed since after Christmas than James had ever seen him before. Was it that James just hadn’t paid attention or was Jacob more casual these days?
“James?” Jacob frowned at him.
“I’m okay. Just thinking,” he admitted.
“I thought you wanted to relax?” Jacob clucked his tongue.
“Me too.” James couldn’t help that he was practically obsessed with learning more about the Daddy and boy dynamic.
Jacob leaned over him to pull at the blanket.
James curled his fingers into the soft blanket, not wanting to give it up.
“Okay, sweetheart. You can hold on to the blankie,” Jacob said. He pulled James up. “May I remove your jeans?”
He liked that Jacob asked permission. “Yes.”
There were no extra touches. Jacob’s hands didn’t wander or rub. Jacob had James’s jeans down his legs and told him to step out in seconds.
James lifted his feet and the jeans were gone. A soft pair of sweatpants was held up. He had to hold on to Jacob’s shoulders to get the sweatpants up his legs. Once the pants were settled onhis hips, James was warm. He still clung to the blanket he had in his arms.
“Go ahead and sit down. Feel free to stretch out. I’m going to get you some water, then we’ll cuddle on the couch and watch cartoons.”
James glanced back toward the huge screen on the wall across from the couch. He was rather relieved that Jacob owned a television. How awful would it be to pick a Daddy that didn’t have a television.
Jacob chuckled. “Yes, I have a TV.” He picked up the remote from the coffee table and powered the television on. He scrolled through the home screen before stopping at a cartoon. Young teenage superheroes played in front of him. “I remember this one. I think you’ll like it.”
“Yeah.” It used to be one of his favorites.
Jacob gently held James’s elbow and urged him down. James lowered himself to the couch before laying the blanket back over him.
“Perfect,” Jacob praised. “I’ll get you that water. Would you like a snack?”
